Hey! My name is Darryl Syms, and if it isn't already obvious on my videos, I'm a guitar player and solo artist. I was born in the UK, and I currently live on the Gold Coast, Australia.
On this channel, I predominantly post instructional videos to help inspire like-minded guitar players. My goal is to help you expand your musical vocabulary, broaden your understanding of music, and to entertain. There are already thousands of guitar videos out there, but I try to set my videos apart from the usual by exploring modern techniques, by giving insight on the music theory concepts behind my favourite songs, and simply by being myself!
Besides RU-vid, I also sell instructional content on my website, as well as teach Skype lessons across the world. Other than music, I have many other passions such as surfing, snowboarding, nutrition, advocating a vegan and sustainable lifestyle, yoga, photography, and a mixture of other things.
