The judge who sentenced a demon who stabbed another human being SEVEN TIMES TO A THREE-YEAR SENTENCE should be held accountable.
@justanothersmith6012

The Prosecuting Attorney’s office wrote to the parole board requesting stricter supervision for Terry because his victim had almost died. The victim begged the parole board for stricter supervision. She was terrified of him. The parole board rejected both pleas and he got 1 year parole and moved to Florida when he was released. The jury found him guilty of “great bodily harm” instead of the option of attempted murder. Insanity that we see more and more these days.

A lot of states only require you to serve 1/2 your sentence for good behavior.

What's the reaction going to be if they give him the death penalty, but the school murderer didn't. That'll be crazy.

If there isn't a register for violent domestic offenders, there should be. Maybe this death could have been prevented if Kay had been aware of his prior conviction

Why is punishment worse if it has to do with drugs 🤦‍♀️, they want the death penalty now?? They let him out to do it again

I do believe violent crimes deserve harsher punishments - I don't understand the drug thing either unless they were selling a drug that nearly killed someone; addicts are gonna find their fix somewhere it's just a matter of where so honestly I don't blame the dealer - at least drug dealers are willing to help chronic pain patients that drs just decide after prescribing them narcotics for 20 years that they don't wanna write them anymore narcotics and that's when you support your local drug dealer 👍

In cases like this, I believe that the "prior-bad-acts" rule should not apply. I realize that this guy did his time for the stabbing, but past behavior predicts future behavior most of the time!

We have lost our way when something so obvious and just common sense is picked apart by the legal system. Just 5 yrs earlier, he tried to kill his prior girlfriend by stabbing her in the neck 7 times. She was in the intensive care unit for 5 days and almost died. The jury only found him guilty of “great bodily harm”. He was only sentenced to 3 years. The parole board rejected a plea for stricter supervision. WHY? Now , none of that can come into this trial? What if we get one of those jurors that knows he did it but can’t fight his way out of that paper bag we call reasonable doubt? It happens more and more , these days, especially in death penalty cases . This is insane .

If found guilty, life in prison without parole seems to me the most beneficial physically to the defendant.

We who are in serious recovery for alcoholism know that, whether drunk, stone cold sober, hung over, or craving our next drink, we are, at all times, under any circumstances, RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT THE BODY DOES. Following the first bloodbath, he knew that his drinking of alcohol brought out the latent violence in him. After the first near-murder, he should have taken steps to ensure that he would never, ever put another drop of alcohol into his mouth. It was HIS responsibility to make that determination, and to make his own arrangements for detox, counseling, 12-Step meetings, etc. In my work in the recovery community, I never heard of a prison that did not have a established substance abuse program in place, or which did not have regular Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings, which are run by members of the local 12 Step organizations. These valuable services are 100% free, to the alcoholic/addict, the prison, and the tax payer. He chose to pick up. He must submit to the punishment that goes along with that foolish and selfish decision to put his hand upon the glass or bottle and raise it to his mouth.

I do believe in law that should be changed you should always be able to hear about the prior past criminal history of anybody on trial this goes to the character and who they are and what they are and I think they should be let in. The argument is that people will be tried on their past experiences and or crimes, however, seems like history repeats itself a lot with past criminals who have violent crimes they go on Sprice they kill more than one person they do the same thing to another person that they did to the person before either they didn’t complete what they wanted to do before like this man on trial here where he didn’t actually kill his last girlfriend but he cut off And this time he did. This woman’s life could have been saved had he been in prison longer. I also think there should be minimum sentences not a full range when it comes to violent crimes, for example anything with attempted murder and above should be life with no chance of parole at the minimum anything that is murder to should have a sentence of 25 years to life not lighter sentences this also goes for manslaughter and things of this nature. If you put someone’s life at risk you should be able to walk in a few years if you put somebody’s life at risk you should get serious time a minimum of 25 years for manslaughter murder to wife chance of parole maybe after 30 years if you’re lucky but I would definitely say the sentences should be stiffening up for a lot of crimes it would save a lot more lives
