This video is a Math-U-See Primer Curriculum flip through and overview. MUS Primer is an early elementary math curriculum often used in homeschooling kindergarten and/or 1st grade. In this homeschool math curriculum, I will share a lot of the early concepts taught while also doing a flip through of the pages so that you can get a good idea of the page layout and how Math-U-See Primer works.

I am thinking I’ll continue doing these videos in this format. I started doing it like this because I always want to see the pages while learning about it at the same time too.

Math U see has been the best math curriculum for us. My child is loving it and I was impressed with the learning videos that comes with each lesson. I no longer have to teach math , my child is learning better with the videos than with any other public school teacher or even myself.

My child is almost done with Beta level. The way we do it is for example: Lesson 1 , I give him the first 2 worksheets. If he gets perfect score in both sheets with no assistance, it means he’s ready for the test. If he gets 90% or higher on the test, we go to the next lesson. Lesson 2 if he gets a couple 3 or more wrong in the first 2 worksheets, he needs to slowly continue all the worksheets of this lesson until he’s mastered the lesson and then take the test. (Of course this takes weeks but it’s just an example of how we move to lessons). He gets so excited when his moving up lesson levels that now he’s giving a 100% every time he works in a worksheet.
