I believe it would be confusing to have the different methods in learning how to do the math. If it isn’t working with the curriculum you are using now, try switching over to this all together and see if it helps!
Has anyone tranitioned from good and beautiful math to math u see? If so is there anything lacking or better taught? Is there a big gap or are they closely taught lessons by levels? Any help would be grateful 🙏 thanks.
I cover what Math U see is lacking and better taught in the video. They are very different. I have switched before and I personally like Math U See better. Math U See really gets those math facts mastered and then moves on and reviews the facts. I think it’s more thorough. But it is set up completely different. Did you watch the whole video? You will see what is taught in the table of contents and flip throughs in the video and can compare that to the Good and the Beautiful. Off the top of my head, math u see is lacking counting money, and telling time. That is done through games for us. I believe all number since, and math facts are taught much better in MUS.
@FosteringCuriosity thanks for your reply. Yes i saw your whole video nd about it lacking time and money lessons. I was wondering for someone that has not bought either. How would they compare or lack between the two. I did see another video and saw the good and beautiful uses more storys and has more reading which can also be a plus. And asking other people might tell me more. Thanks again for the review. I will rewatch the video in case i missed anything else because i usually multi-task 😅.
