Beautiful!! I played bassoon in high school and have missed it since the day I turned my borrowed one in. Tonight I found what appears to be the same Linton model I used for 3 years, online, with close up video showng it to be in great shape. $500!! I figure even if it needs a bit of work at that price it could be worth it. I remember getting a much more distinct sound out of my "plastic" Linton than any of the kids at orchestra camp with Heinkels. I can't really even afford this cheap one, but stumbling across your beautiful video has helped me make up my mind - gonna take a chance!! Haven't played one since 1981!!
I am starting to play around with this piece.....your performance is beautiful and convinces me I need to do this piece in the coming year. Thank you for sharing. My compliments to your pianists as well!
