How to reach Matheran ?
It is connected by road and railways both.
For a budget travel, we took a local train from Dadar to Neral, from Neral to Aman Lodge we took a sharing cab.
If you want to reach by road then you can drive till Aman Lodge .
The best part of journey is to travel by Toy Train from Aman Lodge to Matheran.
If you fail to get tickets of toy train because of excess crowd , you can trek for 30 minutes and reach Matheran . You can also take a horse ride to Matheran from Aman Lodge toy train station .
