Mathieu Van der Poel showed his incredible cyclocross skills as he was held up by a crash on the first lap. This was the 2019 season where it seemed he could not put a foot wrong and with his rival Wout Van Aert still recovering, it was left to MVDP to dominate.

my goodness. all of that action was in the first freaking lap! i thought his comeback was taking place over 3 laps or so, but i almost can't believe how strong he is that he came back in the first lap, and then separated after that.... wow.

He did the same in Loenhout 2019 when he crashed on the first corner and came back from last place to first in one lap

I think it was simmilar to this one, I can't remember the details. I do know that the crash was funny, he crashed at the bottom of the bridge and had to wait for everyone to pass before picking up his bike again

Unfortunately not true, it took him more than half the race that time in Loenhout.

Where would you place MVDP in the GOAT of cycling?

A GOAT you can only tell after somebody's Carreer is over. Looking at %win ratio stats, MVDP is far ahead (74%?) against Nys even not 50%

@@philippebergiers7935 van der lol wins way more than 74% of the time. It is due to all of the coffee he drinks before the start line. This kind of behaviour should be banned by the UCI. Am waiting for a video on this

Can you do a video on how vanderpol drinks way to much coffee before the race. This has been a big controversy for far too long and I am shocked that you haven’t addressed this issue in a video yet.
