Thank you bishop for this topic .like in my home the brother to my grandmother ordered her to give dowry she's not married now we doesn't know the procedure then before the great grandmother died she used to say not a must for her to give dowry. But because of calamities that are following us .for me I think if we give this dowry things can ease. please I could like you to tell me whether I should continue with that suggestion of dowry or not
Surrender yourself to Christ Jesus, the more you try to justify causes of the calamities the more you will be confused and murky. You need to stand in the gap, repent for the atrocities & sins committed by our forefathers that keeps on affecting us "generation repeat - curses. This way you will redeem & save the next generation thr' the blood of the lamb - Jesus.Christ... We worship a mighty God all powerful and ever living.

He is using distortied information fear & stigmatisation has led a large number of women to start paying dowry themselves thus creating more confusion. Research show the ulterior motive of dowry (purchase) is to make the woman a subject to the man!!
