Pitknight Earlie is another cool tech that you can fit into the extra deck as an extra negate to add to the endboard. You usually put Pitknight under a link 2 like Cyberse Wicckid and then have it point to an IP Masquerena so you can fire the IP to trigger the Pit whenever you want.
Notably, ending Wicckid and Pitknight Earlie also plays better around Super Poly which is slated to be insane this format with the new target, Garura. Wicckid/IP are both dark and cyberse for it and you can play around that by making Earlie which is fire
thank you!!!! I've been loving it in the deck. circular and any extender can end on splash in EMZ pointing to pitknight, then IP in pit's right zone. this way you can freely trigger the pit by activating IP whenever you'd like. very underrated card
@@joshrosen901 thats the hitter. Really speaking the only options are update jammer or linguriboh. However update Jammer makes for stupidly easy accesscode otks very consistently, and linguriboh is great for procking wickid, can be a life saver in bricky hands, and is useful against trap heavy decks you might encounter. Personally I'd hold off on Earlie until we see how the meta pans out, its not worth losing either of them because youre scared of Super Poly that may or may not even get played that much.
I have been waiting for him to make this tmt, since the announcement of the legacy support, but to think it would end up becoming such a boon to the archetype, I really hope it becomes a true contender for top deck following the falloff of spright and tearalament.

I really enjoy how much this deck feels like playing cyberse-flavored tri-brigade, it's really nice that we're getting a semi-midrange format, even if it's gonna be pretty 2-deck
I've been spending legitimate years trying to make a monarch deck that doesn't brick every game but also has a ceiling high enough to contend with modern decks without "blos pass". You can get decently close with Mega Zaborg turbo strategies but the bricks continue. Hope my favorite deck gets some half decent legacy support soon.

BTW, for those watching, I'm the original pilot of this list in the CSM, so feel free to ask some questions about it to me. :) Will note, though, a couple of misplays in the games you showed, most major one being the last game when you could have normal summoned Sigma, then extender, then Alembertian, then search for Circular and dump the Diameter. With that, you get back to the same endboard as if you opened Circular.
@@dhanyl2725 adding only 1 card above the normal 40 doesn't actually impact consistency that much. Plus, it helps to bury cards that I don't want to draw. Plus, for CSM, having access to 2 Superfactorial did quite help me out. You can easily cut out one out though and the deck is plenty playable. While the deck does suffer from a worse Tear matchup, I believe it compensates for being good against Spright though being able to out their initial normal summon, their extenders in hand amd having enough follow-up to win the next turn. Plus, given Spright will likely be more repped than Tears, I will be better off more often than not.
Can mathmech glue together with Mekk-Knights well? I kinda want to try since standard cyberse monsters like gadget, balancer, iblee seem to work well from my testing.
@@abyssalpetrichor1996 There a couple of Cyberse locks, like Sigma only allowing you to summon Cyberse monsters from the ED, so keep those in mind. Also, when you're choosing Cyberse cards to use for Mekk-Knights, just make sure you can balance out the locks that plenty of cards have and know how how to sequence your plays correctly. Plus, when you're adding the Circular engine into other decks, it does come up the issue of introducing bricks to your deck that may not be desirable, like opening only Sigma or Superfactorial.
Just a small heads up: you can save a lot of special summons by just sacking a mathmech extender with nabla and going for the multiplication + nabla into final Sigma play. Especially in Masterduel with Maxx C legal, this saves a lot of potential enemy handdraws
Circular + any math extender can get you floodgate & super factorial 1- circular dump sigma to special summon itself 2- special summon Sigma 3- circular triggers adding super factorial 4- special summon Mathmech addition/subtraction by targeting circular or sigma 5 - link summon into devotee and disciple using circular and math extender (not sigma) and also trigger disciple effect to draw with devotee making 2 tokens 6- link disciple and 1 token into wicckid and link the last token into a link 1 triggering wicckid to banish and search Mathmech diameter(do not banish math mechs in gy) 7- link into splash mage using wicckid and link 1 then use splash mage effect to revive Mathmech in gy 8- normal summon diameter and using effect to revive another Mathmech in gy You now have 4 mathmechs 9 overlay 4 mathmechs on field to make alembertian and search any S/T from your deck 10 use alembertian to tribute splash mage to revive any Mathmech in gy, make i:p masquerana End- you now turned 2 mathmechs at the start of your turn into 1 ip, 1 floodgate, 1 superfactorial (trishula + Omni negate)
@@saif19845 I am saying you can do a similar combo only using circular by searching equation instead of the super factorial. Step four/five uses circular and equation to reborn the circular to link summon disciple devotee. So instead of searching superfactorial you search equation
@@saif19845 They are saying there's a combo with circular alone, but it requires you to search Mathmech Equation off of Circular instead of Superfactorial.
@@Skrantzy16 Unless I am missing something that does not work, you still need an extra level 4 in rotation to get the search off of Alembertian. It can be any level 4 extender but with just circular you can only guarantee 3 level 4s. If you are lucky maybe you may draw it off the link disciple though.
So, Mathmech is basically the Constellar of the dragon ruler format. A cheap alternative that can compete with them. Also, unlike Evilswarm, it had a decent matchup against rogue strategies

That duel vs meta would have been an easy sweep if you just trusted in the Mathmechs and made Final Sigma using Nebula and Multiplication for a double attacking 6K towers that inflicts double battle damage but instead insisted on using them for Accesscode Talker turbo.
@@lankeysob Thats interesting. Well I love how Droplets work for me. Usually you can revive what you send with Diameter, Alembertian or Equation too. And you can get the gy effect of Multiplication if you draw it, without having to summon it.
@@yamikagevg7841 Yeah droplet is great if you open with some cards you want to get in the GY anyways. Eclipse is nice as it flips everything face down but links. Against Spright can flip their problemmatic cards face down and then just make final sigma and attack over elf for game. You can also use on your own cards to dodge droplet making opponent waste atleast 2 cards. If you used on your laplacian or alembertian they still trigger in end phase as well when they flip back up.
Wicckid provides the same benefit by letting you add a card every turn and often times you can't make heatsoul due to the link devotee lock anyway. After turn one there are just better things to go into with your link material.
@@brandonvanderhoff5678 the heatsoul version does make wicckid and the end board you add a pitearly knight or a masquarena plus linguriboh plust he trap at the cost of the devotee line but the payoff is multiple handtraps in hand plus resouce for next turn
Sorry, but I've got to disagree. Mathmech players have already done the math and Heatsoul only becomes better than IP if you're running at least 16 handtraps, in order to effectively guarantee at least 1 handtrap drawn. In addition, in this format where only specific targeted handtraps have any effect against the meta, the value of those random draws from Heatsoul decrease. May as well search for specific cards that help with follow-up and IP into cards that force the opponent into plays that allow you to survive.
@@yugiohparadox well as I said you can play IP with heatsoul and you already got resource for next turn with wicckid, but yeah handtraps is not that great in this format and the devotee line guarantee your first turn board, maybe next format it will be the better version of the deck, until nibiru comes into play again both version of this deck will be viable
Went ahead and ordered this deck in paper with a few small changes! I cut the Disciple in the extra deck and added a Topologic Zeroboros both as a way to completely clear a board after using Dark Ruler no More and as another option to summon off of I:P if your opponent is playing a control deck
I'm so excited to play this deck in the current format. It can even play around things like "And the band played on" by just going for link plays. The only problem is the Tear matchup, but you just gotta side for it right
I cannot put my finger on why but Joe looks like he's sped up in the deck introduction. He looks like he's zooming between keyframes. Like one of those "[x] players explaining why [y]" memes. It's kind of incredible honestly
To defeat konami's latest power creep cash grab format, you either need the power of mathematics(mathmech) or literacy(DDD). Sadly, most yugioh players can't read, so final sugma it is.
another con of this deck is that super factorial becomes completely invalidated by the ishizu cards (ones that can shuffle cards from grave back to the deck) when they come out.
HELL YEA, I've been playing this deck online since circular was released in the ocg and it's been a solid contender, you don't have to rely on luck past your draws, and it's laughably easy to Jammer into Transcode and Accesscode.
The floodgate search game plan really only comes into play games 2&3 after you know which specific floodgate hurts your opponent the most so you can board into it

I think the new Mathmech can, with Sigma, be used as a very splashable engine to make Splash Magician and then Heatsoul, which then draws 2. This might be the next evolution of Dogmatika or slower deck that doesn’t care about the E-deck.
@@No_Plays_Hand_Empty Thats what I thought as well, but there is a problem with that. Sigma's revive locks you into Cyberse, meaning you can't pend your Zefranui from the extra deck. The way around this is to pend summon first and only make the Heatsoul line, once you are done with the Extra deck

Ok so if you want to COPIUM this in Master Duel you can run Balancer Lord, it's an normal summon "extender" that Specials the card you added from Whitekid since you've banished it. Happy to see Calculus paying off, now Konami, give us the Integral Mathmech and the Derivate Mathmech so i can be happy.
@@weis2098 considering how these math things work, I would say integral could help setting up a rank 8 boss that could be the Cube root function while the derivative could increase or decrease more the attack of a monster on the field with different stats from their original atk/Def to go with Addition and Subtraction.

Could have ended on the standard board if you normal summoned sigma made alembertian searched circular sent nabla summoned sigma back added super fact, summoned nabla from alembertian then summoned diameter off of nabla.
I’m curious why dark ruler instead of droplet? Wouldn’t droplet be better for a deck that otk’s so well considering it both lowers attack and also allows you to do damage unlike dark ruler?
The resource cost of droplet is likely why. Breaking a board going second and setting up like it's turn 1 is the new strategy going forward. Almost every deck that can effectively do that is trying to post-POTE.
A few of us are playing book of eclipse instead of drnm or droplet. Might be the better option as it allows you to still otk whilst shutting down their board.

Why play foolish burial if you only have 2 sigma? sigma effect in graveyard is exactly same as hand right? so foolish burial is just a third copy of sigma then, am i missing something?
As a fan of mathmechs in masterduel and looking to get into tcg the fact I like the cards and style and that it’s relatively cheap and meta relevant means I’ll probably look at making it
