Syahmi Auzan Jesus never asked us to read our book dress like Him , fast like Him etc. he asked us to follow Him. Which means love God more than everything , and then to love our neighbor as ourselves. Only then reading His Word will reveal Him, else it’s memorization which is of no use . believers fast and pray not as works for salvation but as fruit of their salvation. Big difference! Syahmi Auzan brother you didn’t read my comment. Doing what you said is works towards salvation. But people do what you have listed as fruit of this salvation. God is primarily interested in our heart . There is no point doing what’s listed, if our heart is not in the right place that’s why Jesus called out the Pharisees who did all the external but wouldn’t lift their finger to help the burdened ones.
