This song saved my life. I was contemplating on doing chemo and radiation after having two tumors removed and one night I heard this song play and I don't know why but it was that moment that I decided I was gonna fight this. One Day helped me get through 2 forms of cancer, 3 surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation. That was 2012 and I'm cancer free ever since!!! Bless Matsiyahu!!!
@@SickestDisciple Well, technically, if we consider the Earth as one country, then it would be a national anthem... :-) Do you know the quote from Baha'u'llah? "The Earth is but one country and mankind its citizens."
We definitely need this song now more than ever. But people don't listen or I should say a lot of people won't stop long enough to listen it's a sad sad world this year
Not many artists can match their EPs to singing live. Matisyahu absolutely nails it, saw him in KC best concert I've ever seen. Such a legendary and beautiful voice.
I'm in the UK & I can't believe ppl don't know him, they do now! & love his soulful voice, freestyle beat boxing & he only sings peace & love, no hate, so stunningly talented, & you're right he's an amazing role model. ✌🏼💚
Listening this while coronavirus around, my friends the day has come, the future is in our hands, we dont wanna fight no more, we dont want more war, lets go!!!
What peace it brings us to hear a song full of positivity! No more negativity, let's love each other! Love each other! Covid is destroying dreams, let's fight, make a difference in this world! God bless us, and bless Matisyahu greatly!
Agreed! Thank you for recognizing! Mr. Bob Marley would have been proud to share the love! That is what his music was all about. He shared his love with the world and was gone too soon. Praise Jah his sons and family continued his musical legacy...as well as so many other musicians throughout the decades, from all over the world just like Matisyahu, Grateful Dead, Eric Clapton...so many more! Always want to hear more. :)

We all need this right now. Share this video with your friends and family. We need love. We need hope. We will get through this, but man, it's been so hard.
Hit a rough patch, the first time I heard this version, it brought me to tears. I would listen to One Day/No Woman No Cry on repeat all day every day. Now I can listen to this one all day!
Matisyahu... Brooklyn, New York's own Jewish son who started out as a reggae artist. This, a reminder of the recent attack in the synagogue there in San Diego. One Day, hopefully, there will be peace.. ☮... End April, 2019.
At 27 in 2019 I can say I’m so grateful to have discovered this amazing musician when I was only 13. The first I heard of matisyahu was his performance at stubbs when he performed king without a crown. My youth was spent listening to music like bob, slightly stoopid and Matis. I have to say one of my favorites is his song youth but one day is my favorite atm.
This song has such a positive and wonderful message! We need this song more than ever in these difficult trying dark times! Thank you Matisyahu for your gifted talent!
Crossing all barriers, this young man is. Yoda speak. Nothing like the arts to show the light of creation here ... it is, ulitimately, spiritual ... inspired.
Sorry if you don't see the irony in you saying "keep the vibes flowing positive energy" and you have a picture of Che Guevara as a profile pic...........
Wow. What an incredible live performance from him. I've always loved the song "One Day" from the very first moment I heard it back in 2012 and of course have always been a big Bob Marley fan since I was a kid but this is the first time that I saw this video and heard this version. And the scatting that he does near the end was phenomenal. He's quite a vocalist and talent to be able to pull that and singing Bob Marley off. Incredible!
I love this rendition/mix with "no woman no cry".... always gives me goosebumps. Love you, Matisyahu.... but it's the words that move me and I can tell you are moved as well (shows in the different live versions you have of this mix). Thank you for inspiring me!!
Matisyahu has been one of my favorite artists I've ever listened to, We need to stop the negativity, stop the hate...shine bright and spread your joy onto others everywhere you go! GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND STAY SAFE!!
Saw him at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO in November last year. If you've ever been there you know it's a small, up close and personal kind of place and that made it one of the best shows I've ever seen. He's awesome, he likes to stage dive and always brings people up on stage at the end of his shows and makes you feel like you're not just the most recent stop on his tour. If you have a chance to go and see him you've got to make it happen.
