MATLAB Function Plotting Basics 

This was an awesome video. Doing simple things like purposely doing something wrong the first time to emphasize a common mistake students make is a fantastic way to teach. Congrats on being a great professor!

thankx. you can also use, plot(x,y,x,y2,x,y3) and the graphs will b plotted in the same window and differant colors will be given.

why im i getting this error ??? Undefined function or method 'test' for input arguments of type 'char'.

I have a question. In this video, you established x-values by putting: [-2 -1 0 1 2] ...basically putting brackets around the different x-values. However, in another video you stated that this was how you define a polynomial function - by stating the coefficients in vector form. So how does Matlab know the difference between 1. saying x equals the set of integers from [-2,2], and 2. saying x = -2x^4 -1x^3 +0x^2 +1x +2 ?

how can i overwrite the plot?i want to modify something on it and when i use it to open my modified not the original?
