Chapter 9 of this book on "Linear State-Space Control Systems" (Williams & Lawrence) is Optimal Control. You need to read the WHOLE book just to understand this last chapter. I did that for a course in this difficult subject. This gentleman, Jitendra Singh, apears to have mastered it! Other people like him don't SHARE what he's sharing!
