I am learning MATLAB for fun but I found out it's paid, this was a great intro to octave, thanks!

Yes, this is the drawback of MATLAB! However, Octave has a lot of funtionalities too. Glad you liked it!!!!

the devs broke the scroll back mouse wheel feature of the main input screen/window, on win11/10

when octave is in a window larger than 1080p, then the window contents scrolling in main screen is bugged
