Incorrect info about a Galaxy Map...there is still nothing done except a huge ammount of local village's property with its garbage's hills all around....they block Auroville growth for years...
Auroville, like all lasting and truly spiritual organisation has to manifest from within outwards. If there are obstacles and blockages outside, I suppose the group-life has to look within. It is a great art to assimilate and integrate the life around us. I am sure Auroville residents will find a way however long it takes. But first an inner unity based on a commonality of aspiration and subordination of the ego to the greater Truth that Auroville stands for is perhaps the more pressing need of the moment. Here are the Mother's words from 1972: 'Instead of a combination where each one has his place within a harmonious unity, instead of that, everyone pulls in his own direction. The real progress to be made is a moral one. You have hit the point: lack of unity is the cause of all the difficulties. Now even the Ashram has been contaminated by the disease: each department considers itself a separate entity. And since there's no more cohesion, nothing works! That's the situation. And I can no longer go from one place to another and bring a vigorous action. I can't anymore, I am held here. That's it, you've put your finger on it. If you could propose a specific plan of action, we could see. That's what is needed: to coordinate the efforts and create a unity with the parts. From the beginning there has been this lack of unity, and also because of the action I no longer perform. No matter how much I tell them, "You are not here to represent your own interests. Architecturally its The most Spectacular & Most Unique and what spiritually it holds is beyond our petty human mind which it can hardly fathom. Although Auroville is undeniably beautiful it was not finished in how the original way the Mother envisioned. One ex: the sphere inside the concentration room is suppose to be translucent not transparent. Also the town is owned by the corrupt Indian Govt. now and they have people managing it that are partaking in ill-intended manners to the visitors thus indirectly causing people to form false ideas and prejudices to the original purpose of the creation. It does not matter though because the Truth is already here, it shall triumph and flourish.
