i have recently been producing some of my own prototypes and have found that the the "matrix lean" thing can withstand an average persons weight ( depending on how strong the metal is). i am still finding out a way to make it more stable as it can wobble... A LOT! but none the less this is exactly how they do

Josh prang This still doesn't explain how Chris Angel managed to do it. He had both a girls feet up in the air as she was lying back and there's no way a hidden pole could hold someone in that position or even be hidden.

Playbackjunkie Lifting both feet is using wires in each side of the hips (for the case of Criss). I will do another animation on that one one day. Take care.

Yes, I will make another animation for that one as well, but I will first explain how to "levitate" as he did at the end of that episode. But right now I am working on the Pole Levitation, then maybe will be the levitation. Regards.

This is exactly what happen when there is lack of knowledge regarding magic tricks and regarding video effects. You think is the real deal when in reality is just magic tricks. The $1,000,000 US challenge is out there, you have nothing to argue about this to me. If it is possible, then just prove it or go to American got talent, but no, they can't because is obviously fake (as simple as that). With regards.

You can be sure that I am in no way a close mind person. The problem is that none of the teacher have done this (as you seems to believe). That is what "James Randi foundation" is all about, they offer a $1M US to whoever can show those kind of claims you are talking about & from over 10 years nobody had been able to win that million Dynamo as any other TV magician, they buy tricks from other people, those tricks are not even their creation for the most part & this channel is to educate others

Depending on the camera cuts, the plate is underneath the carpet & the nail barely protrude the carpet until he step on it or they may even mask it using the editing skills to make that invisible, but not need editing skills to edit it out since the head of the nail is too small to see it at the camera distance, not even at 1080 resolution would be visible. In this video the head of the nail looks too big because is always at a close up, but it wouldn't be at spectators distance. Regards.

Magicians usually go to workshops in which they have the right tools to do this. Not because the workshop owners know about how to do this themselves but also the mind of the magician is the one who have to work out any old or new ideas out with the owner of the workshop or an engineers for good results. They do sell this in magic stores but I don't know their quality nor I think anyone had made the second variation I am showing in this video at 4:20. Kind regards.

Your point would be well taken if the people watching him were in a stationary area, but since they were walking by, then your point is not applicable. You can just leave the plate 5 minutes before the performance & 5 to 10 minutes later everyone will be different. Plus if someone is watching you putting something on the ground, who cares; no one know what's the point. To carry that plate, there are some things call "dolly cart" which are meant to lift this stuff up. Is not difficult at all.

There are 2 ways to do it, but the way he did it is by using a nylon thread. Imagine a "swing" made of nylon thread coming from above and he just put his back above (in the middle of the swing). The reason for it is that you can see the mark right in his back (under his left harm) and the letters covering above (by his head) may be the reason to conceal part of the thread. The second way is by holding his body up using his head, where he may rest his head over pole coming from the side. etc.

CGI is becoming an important part for engineering models before expensive machinery is created due its high price, eg. cars, buildings, illusions that contain complex functions, etc. So the problem is not that they are not easy, the problem is the price, sometimes is even ridiculous. CGI has becoming a more inexpensive way to build, construct and explain ideas. Regards.

Dynamo is not the only one performing this trick, before it was Criss angel, then Cyril...among others...and then Dynamo, they ALL use this principle, I don't see any reason to see otherwise. You are free to believe whatever you want. However, I don't think no professional magician will agree with you. With regards.

Have you heard of the "James Randi foundation"? If not, you may want to take a look at him. However, I agree with him for the most part, except when it comes to theological subjects. It make no difference how many books you read, as long as there is no evidence to support those claims, it all becomes subjective. Take care.

There is no such thing as levitating without connections through a hula. Or the hula evade the strings or the hula have a slit, it all depending on the performance. If you want to learn that, you'll have to make some time searching for the mask magicians since he already explained couple of them. I may do my own videos on that later. Regards.

For the variation number 2, it was just my own idea, I don't think they sell it anywhere. For the first variation, it may cost from $1500 US to $3000 US, so is more inexpensive to do one yourself or with one who have the tools, is not worth to expense that much because that will limit you to whatever they made and not to whatever new you can come up to. You can walk with it. The only issue is that you can't bend the ankle when walking with it and if you pay attention it may not be too noticeable in some videos but it still look funny the way some people walk because the steel framework is pretty rigid and you can't move your feet, just your leg. No everybody have the same height, so it depend on the individual height, but they are all mainly of stainless steel for the greatest economical support. But the video is all I have regarding details and ideas, I don't own it and I don't have any blue print. Regards.

You can bend the leg when walking, but not the ankle. In a TV show, thanks to camera cuts, you may not have the steel framework attached to the leg when walking, but in the next camera can you may. About the vans name brand shoe, still the same; it doesn't need to have heel. Regards.

He don't need to put a plate late night, he can just put it that same day. Or just glue a nail in the ground since he only weight like 50 pounds. What you think they don't do, is what they do, that's why few people can't figure it out.

This is just my personal technique, I know they sell some at 52magic.com under $2,000 US; but I don't know their quality. But I don't think the technique #2 (as you see in this video) has never been created. I was just putting 2 techniques in 1. Regards.

They don't sell them, you have to make your own or ask someone with tools to make one for you. If by any chance they sell them it will cost you not just the manpower but also the secret.

Last time I saw it online, they sell it in China for about $3000 to $4000 US. But you can go to your local workshop where they can cut those metal parts with special tools. Take care.

Hmmm....I dont know if a MAGNET is possible but dont you think the people would SEE the nail in the ground ? And he moved away from the spot and there was nothing ? + that was a japanese TV show and he was a guest....so he couldnt have planted it before.....these are my thoughts I could be wrong though. The problem with this video is that it is just a hypothetical illustration. No one is shown actually using such a devise. Sorry you will have to do better than that. For example just try and go back the full 90 degrees in slow motion as Dynamo does before your hypothetical stop kick ins.

+Elena R - That was already answer at minute 3:00, they also used carpet on top of the plate to conceal it better. Also the hole is a tiny hole in diameter, so it shouldn't be any problem if you are in places like Mexico and other countries, even better if you know the owner of the property.
