I remember seeing a video about their first off-collab. Pekora pretended to like the skinship, but wasn't actually comfortable with it, and confided that in her stream the next day iirc. Since then they haven't had many interactions. I see Matsuri is trying to extend an olive branch, to try to make a friendship after scaring away the shy rabbit the first time. Here's hoping it works. It seems like Matsuri really likes Pekora.

They just don't collabed in a while, like most shipped duos, and fans already think the two are on odd terms. Just look on how many people are convinced that Pekora and Miko hate each other now only because they haven't collabed for a long time

Actually now that I think about it it's not something I want to spread around as fact because it really just isn't something that can be confirmed. Matsuri and Luna went through something identical where the two were frequent closer-than-average collaborators until they suddenly weren't. Given Matsuri's... interesting interpretations of boundaries, people have speculated about it. (Edit: rereading this the way I worded this might give the impression that I think Matsuri did something bad, but a lot of people's guesses aren't anything physical)

I think what’ll happen is she’ll see the pressure plates and understand that the glass reveals no trap, but will assume it really is a trap because of it’s obvious fluke and the mechanism relies on something beyond her knowledge.
