it's weird hearing the host talk about high schoolers going nuts for 30 years stuff. i swear after we talked about rome for like 6 months, it was just straight into the revolutionary war. granted, i went to public school in oklahoma, so ymmv
I went to a public school in texas. I loved history then, too. I remember from high school world war two towards the end of one of the last semesters of high school, and that’s it. I don’t recall learning about the 30 years war AT ALL. My mom is also into history, and had never even heard of it 🤦🏻♂️
@@sethbecker7162 yea i never learned about 30 years war until way after high school. its funny considering how canonical WW2 is to the American narrative, i think we barely spent any time on it and it was also towards the end
