@@austaneousc5802 I think Jeff Buckley would have loved Matt Corbys Music. Though I don't really like comparisons, I get this one and I think it's absolutely justified. Even though they are not very simular in the obvious, their style or their voice, they are in many other things: purity, devotion, passion, vocal range, terrific lyrics like poems, decent human beeings, both were/are multiinstrumentalists. Sadly I was never able to see Jeff Buckley live, but I saw Matt Corby. In a nutshell: they are/were both real artists. I adore them both equally, both leave me in tears whilst listening to their music, they touch my soul. Thats what justifies the comparison.
What a brilliant piece.. I remember listening this song all those years ago, loved it however you had too many good tracks when I first discovered you so never really listened it more than a couple times. Right now, with my sick headphones this track is 🔥
lyrics: Dreams, They keep me awake Like this song, That is stuck in my brain And it goes "Dum-da-dum, da-dum, da-da-da-da-dum, da-dum, da-dum, da-dum, da-dum, dum, da-da-da, da-da-da-dum" So I stood in the heated halls and I played for the King and the Queen Oh I went out in the blistering cold and I played for the beggars and thieves I saw the pain in their eyes fade away as they listened to me Oh I will carry that weight back home Dreams, Oh listen to me I'm so tired of this place And I wanna be free And they say "Oh don't you get it, You're never, You're never going back home" And they say "Oh don't you get it, There is more to life, there is more to life than I know" Cause I stood in the heated halls and I played for the King and the Queen Oh I went out in the blistering cold and I played for the beggars and thieves I saw the pain in their eyes fade away, as they listened to me Oh I will carry that weight Oh I will carry that weight back home
Probably the most difficult question to answer is what is your favourite song, I think this may be it for me, I have to stop myself listening to it too often as it gives me an earworm that won't get out of my head when I wake up at night. It's utterly beautiful

I love this so much. The pace and workup reminds me of Linkin Park's "The Little Things Give You Away" which is just as hauntingly beautiful. Check it out if you're not familiar: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zKLVg6aS3bM.html
