Music I play when I’m reading and painting or sketching. Matt Corby is just such a versatile, talented and unique artist. So appreciate your reaction to this. It’s the vibe that makes it so cool. Its crazy when people do loops live. Its one thing to try a thousand times in the studio and get one perfect. But to loop live is crazy. Props to Matt.

Jeff Buckley's Dad, Tim is similarly unique brilliant voice and vocal styles. His talent is just so wonderful and that he shares with us. Jeff and Tim too are wonderful.
14:25 Matt Corby will be performing in Toronto ON on the 12h and 13th of October this year. I just looked up his website and he'll be in Europe and the USA over a 2 month period. I hope that date works out for you.

I'm having trouble catching lyrics but even just hearing his voice as an instrument, mixed with the rest of the instrumentation, this is a beautiful song, and definitely adds to me being able to remember his name as someone whose work I'm interested to hear more of. In addition to Jeff Buckley in his vocals, I'm hearing Mark Knopfler/Dire Straits in parts of the guitar/music, yo. Which is a pretty beautiful pair of influences... Edit, after the looping - jfc lol what a performance, whew!
