If we're going just off major appearances on the show, he's superseded by several other guests (Kristen Bell, Anthony Anderson and Kathy Griffin) according to the IMDB. Though I don't think that list of his appearances is accurate - I'm fairly sure he's been in more episodes than the site lists. If we're counting cross-media stuff like his appearances where he "calls out" Kimmel on other late-night/talk/award shows, he probably has the most involvement out of any guest on the show.

A lot of great comics make for very good actors because of the depth of their thought. You can't have a cutting sense of humor without sharp intellect, and a sharp intellect is a bit of a prerequisite for knowing a character inside and out well enough to bring him to life.

Christian Ali I don't think he was referring to Sarah Silverman. This feud was between Kimmel and Damon. The *bleeped was when Damon was making a reference about the time he took over Jimmy Kimmel's Show renaming it Jimmy Kimmel Sucks! This irritated Kimmel and stopped him from describing what happened. If you look up Matt Damon takes over the show, it will show up. Hope that helps, Bryan

I gotta say I just love the relationship Jimmy and Matt have going here. To commit to this bit way back in the beginning, and stick with it and make it a part of the culture, it reminds me of the loyalty of Bill Murray and David Letterman. I can picture this schtick going on when they are old men if Jimmy wants to keep this show going that long.
