Fun fact: Matt Damon was one of the actors heavily considered for the role of Harvey Dent/Two-Face in The Dark Knight but had to turn it down due to scheduling conflicts with Invictus. Just think, had he accepted the role this would've been like a mini reunion between him and Gary Oldman.

awesome420ication Well, Since 1928, only 174 Oscars have been awarded for leading roles, add that to the 158 for supporting roles since 1936 and you see that it is a very rare thing for someone to win. Gary Oldman doesn't usually perform in "Oscar type" movies, hence only one nominations, but he is a great actor.

had the pleasure of hearing an interview with Kimmel on NPR radio in NYC the other day just prior to his program's time switch. he spoke about his pranks and of course this 'thing' between himself and Damon. hilarious! the two are friends. he also spoke about his pranks going back to when he and his cousin Sal hung out as kids. doing what he does now is sort of destiny.. and it's worth looking up on the NPR site as they generally have these programs in their archives somewhere. worth a listen!
