Will anyone mention that this was the first NFL game where combined pass yards went quadruple digits? Either way, legendary game for Matt Flynn and possibly one of the best offensive games ever played. I’ll just call this game “1000 Yards of Matt”

This was my first and only nfl game so far. I remember shouting "Flynn to win! Go pack go!" I could never forget it.

Aaron rodgers needed 6 touchdowns in this game to beat the all-time touchdown record set by Tom Brady. Instead he sat out and his Backup got 6 touchdowns

People forget in the 90s the packers had mark brunell , Kurt Warner and hasslebeck just to name a few and in the 2000s they had rodgers so we usually have good back ups lol and Flynn saved the season in 2013

That game for future Hall Of Famer Matthew Stafford was awesome as well. 500 yards passing and 5 TD's. He could have had 600 yards and 6TD's, if not for that long pass dropped for a TD by Titus Young. Plus, Pettigrew's two dropped balls. Probably other dropped balls, as I just went to the timelines posted in the comments.

The Packers would have been mores successful over the years had they kept Flynn on their roster. He wasn't the most athletic guy, but he could run the offense and the Packers had a chance to win when he was in there. That was better than the other backups the Packers had after Flynn left.

Packers defense was swiss cheese in 2011. We rightfully trashed them in the 2nd round on our way to the Super Bowl.

The first play should have been a safety, the receiver had possession of the ball and recovered it only for it to be once again forced out of his possession which ultimately negates the kick off reception and it was his ball.

Titus Young should have taken the pain falling to the ground, and held on to that ball by Stafford. That was a once in a lifetime catch to have there. I know he was only a rookie, but he had the ball secure when he hit the ground but that shoulder land caused him distress and he coughed it up. That was a touchdown, super extended dive catch there. No one touched him as he rolled into the end zone, so it would have been a TD. I would have taken the separated shoulder to hang on to that ball lol

Great game, props to both quarterbacks. The headline reads Matt Flynn goes for 500 yards, that is a lie. Stafford had more yards than Flynn albeit in a losing effort. Unless the stats FOX put up are wrong Flynn had 480 yards and Stafford had 520 yards. Headline should include both players at least. The NFL YT is great but has some glaring mistakes.
