I had that... and another weird one with demos. I can remember the first time hearing opiv energy like it was yesterday. I was in the trash house with my friends 1990. Played it on one of those old lunchbox record players for children. I remember the album ended, and saying we have to listen to that again. I played it 15 times that evening if i played it once. It's definitely my #1 island pick.

I atil remember going to a record store in DC and asking if they had any ska. "We don't, but you might like this..." and he sold me the Hectic EP. Four years later I was living in Berkeley going to Gilman every weekend. Totally changed my life!!

A Classic. Is funny because its teh same for you as it is for us. You really make it so the bass player must concentrate at all times. You had made your life very hard but i honestly think the Bass is one of the major aspects of Rancid. and without such hard work put into the design of the tracks things may not had worked out the same. I don't really you know Rebellion UK? Yeah i don't actually like the other bands there lol. U know. i think its too crap and degrading. But rancid was a sweet spot, and the festival was great. I was in the mag. Acoustic stage. Saw the Old Firm Casuals when lars came under the radar to scope it out. Saw lars out the back my hotel was right adjacent to backstage. Didn't say nothin to him i was very depressed and on my own at that age. One of the other i was trying to gt a damn drink Jaya the Cat singer u know. HOPE ALL IS WELL MAT il keep supporting so. lets keep the connections
