It always feels uneasy when worship has to "end" because of time constraints and curfews, etc. It just shows how we have been given a desire and longing to worship God forever. I know I wish I could have kept singing "Let it rain!" over and over and over for days. In Heaven, I will. :)
I don't see how some people are saying the guys at the end ruined it... They just started praying. No one told the audience to stop singing. No one told the Spirit to go away... I've been to IHOP, and man!! The Presence of God is there and people are experiencing it in their own way for hours after the music stops, after the sermon is over.... God is the author of time... Jesus died for our mistakes. We are called to love one another. Be blessed everyone! The End.
Just religious spirits and selfishness. They miss out on the beauty of what happened there because the read their own desires instead of understanding what Holy Spirit was doing on that night and in that time
wow, its wonderful that the people were worshiping on their own. not just the musicians and worship leaders, but all of God's children. They allowed the Holy Spirit to move through them. A worship leader once told me that they couldn't wait for the day when they weren't needed, when God's people would just worship the Lord with all their hearts, when there was no need for someone to lead them, but for the Holy Spirit to lead. This video is a glimps of that. :)

This happened at passion. Some many stories I could tell. Jesus Culture played then our group went back to our hotel room. We formed a prayer circle, someone in our Group gave their live to Christ for the first that night, prayed over them. Turned into something that lasted 6 hours. Just tears, prayer, a Worker at the hotel asked us some questions, because she had never seen anything like it before. She later accepted Christ also. Its amazing how the spirit can show up.
Haha I was there for that it was soo cool!! Matt Gilman was trying to end it so they could go on with the sermon, but we just kept going!! The presence of God was just soo tangible there, we were so caught up in Him, we could have gone on like that all night!
Amen, screw the sermon: it should’ve been allowed to go all night. Seeing the Anointing torpedoed by people makes me sick. This is why the Holy Ghost doesn’t move much in most Western churches: they don’t allow Him to! We expect God to abide by our schedules and fit into our constraints. His ways are not our ways. I don’t get why most don’t see that. They’re like, “God, You can do whatever you want to….as long as we’re done by noon so I can get home to watch a football game.” Time limits are automatic anointing-killers.
I know what you mean. I was there. I've felt a lot from god's presence. His fire, and even something like electricity. An inability to stand. But this was different. It was so sweet. I don't know hot else to describe it. Just think sweetness.
There is something about this song, no matter who is singing it, that God has been highlighting to me for a while now. Whatever it is, LET IT RAIN! OH GOD, LET YOUR GLORY RAIN DOWN UPON THE EARTH! DO IT AGAIN! REND THE HEAVENS AND LET YOUR GLORY BE HERE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!
The most beautiful thing is to hear the poeple keep singing to God after you have stopped. No one leading them, they just willingly keep lifting up their creator. What a beaufitul sound!
Letting God rain, when we are entirely to let Him do so, with no restraints, with self completely lowered, the most amazing worship and praise appears, and the angels themselves will come to join in. This is beautiful beyond words, but this is exactly how it will be in heaven! God Bless!
Hearing the voices screaming out tongues....I love hearing other young people speak in tongues to our Father. I know that I am not the only one. It's such an amazing feeling to talk to Him in your secret place.

At a conference my youth group held, a bunch of people from another group that was attending starting singing this in another language. It was crazy intense. This was all during some powerful worship, in a time of just God pouring it out. I'll never forget that.
it doesn't really matter if it is religious, emotional based, or whatever you want to degrade it with. if there is one person in this entire building that was truly touched by God then it's purpose has been served. It is our job as Christians to show the love of Christ. if God chooses to use it to deal with someone's soul he will do so no matter what the surroundings are. Praise God that he loves us enough to work in each of us differently.
I am old enough to have experienced the Jesus movement of the 1960's and early 70's ... it is what stopped the Vietnam war regardless of what the historians may say. America you are on the edge of an awakening that will ready your nation for the coming of the King .... the Millenials are truly about to experience a Jesus revolution that will make the first Jesus movement look like a rehearsal. very powerful songs, i watched it many times and i feel the presence of God and i heard the people they are singing in their hearts, they are filled with the holy spirit. Be filled with the holy spirit is awesome, just go to the flow, surrender all and lifted up all unto Him, cry out and everything will follow, your tears, your sentiments, your worries, all will get away and you will develop the confidence in Christ that in all things we can do through Christ.
even though in NOT a christian, this music almost persuades me that God exists, that He actually may love me & that perhaps one could find peace serving God. its reveiling, however that when the presence of the christian God does literally manifest during this song, that some religious guys come in & shut the thing down, treating your God like a current being flipped off by a light switch. if i was a christian, id NEVER be so irreverent to a God that i worshipped like that
I watch this video every morning for 5 days & yesterday it actually rained! It's Summer! Maybe coincidence, but a sign to me. When I first heard this song I was angry that the worship was cut off. If that was U, congrats cuz you desire the Glory. Seek the Glory! However, if you are one who understands that every worship service has to come to an end and you're glad you were able to receive congrats cuz you are displaying the fruit of the spirit. Your awesome! God needs both on His team!
as a member of a worship team, this to me was just BREATHTAKING! Hearing those you help lead completely "dance" on their own in the heavenlies, with NO help! oh man, This was just beautiful!!! simply beautiful!

I was at onething this year, it was the last song of a worship set that lasted close to 90 minutes, and it was the end of the night. They have to wrap it up somehow.
@spiritualaccent when did I ever say I despised worship? Everything I said can be backed up by Scripture... I'm just gonna leave it at that because at the end of the day, we all answer to God for what we do and not to each other. God bless.

Not many non Christians would.. anyways just wanted to say that "Truth divorced from experience leaves one in a realm of doubt" with that being said, I encourage you to seek an experience with this God, His existence cannot be denied when you seek Him whole heartedly as these people are in this video =)
Ok this is a response to all the complaints about "stopping" the anointed worship. 1. God commands orderly worship in the church so allowing everyone to go with no direction is not Biblical. 2. If this is true anointed worship just because someone starts praying on a microphone doesn't mean they have to stop worshiping. 3. They could have let that go on all night but what is the benefit of that? It's an amazing thing but we also worship God with how we live our lives not just our songs.
man, so many haters on youtube. Why not let God do the judging and not you? I was there at the time, worship was great. But the conference had an agenda. That God had given to the leaders there. Wish I could experience that again.
Look, this argument needs to stop... I was there.. The presense of God was definitely moving powerfully. But that conference did have a purpose. Everyone left there that night still singing this song. God's presense was not removed... So just stop the arguing. Honestly, how can we expect ourselves to reach the world if all the world sees in us is this.... Us fighting against ourselves. It's sad really.
@robbymba well if you do go this year (which is in 7 months and 29 days btw), you'll find that you really do get drunk in the spirit. it's not just something that we made up.. you can't control your laughter, your joy. it's beautiful and I hope you experience it someday. :)
@Jburn3 Justin Rizzo is actually one of the most humble and meek worship leaders you could meet, what you don't see over these videos is the countless hours he put in as an usher over the course of the conference, I saw him serving diligently with my own eyes, I actually got really inspired haha... He does have a look that can be deceiving in this video though, I can see why you thought that... But I can definitely testify that he isn't like that at all. :)

yea when the worship was cut off i got pretty mad and fustrated it was cause of time i guess. theres a big alrarm looking type of clock directly across the stage to tell the worship leaders to end. i bet when gilman and every one stoped that meant the clock stoped as well but every one was still worshiping. so that dude comes and does a times out thing and saids the section was over and people can leave. it was a buzz kill belive me.

I'm just sick of people that come to these type videos and leave hate comments. you're the type that just knew how to play the part. you just created emotions in yourself in order to make yourself look like those around you. thus you conclude that everyone else is the same. at some point in your life (maybe a very negative time) you realized that you never truely built a realationship with Christ and so you felt empty and made the *assumtion that it was all fake

@dxsmackdown8-i HIGHLY commend you. your NOT even a Christian yet YOU have more discernment/honor for Holy Spirit than some of the fools posting comments here- you may not be saved(yet) but obviously you have enough reverence for God to know that the sadducees who abruptly stopped the anointed flow of worship were TOTALLY in the wrong & are obviously callous to the Holy Spirit movements in a service. it amazes me, how desensitized 'church ppl' are to God's Spirit but you discerned correctly
@Tomekwinxs It's the same from every Christian that has truly encountered God because they feel something so real that they can't believe anyone who's felt it could mistake it for emotion... In your case Satan has simply gone out of his way to blind you to the truth. Probably, his agenda for you is/was bigger than for other believers because GOD'S IS TOO! @bombtasticgirl4 thats the Holy Spirit calling you. It was an appointment you saw this. You dont have to be religious to be a follower of Jesus. Im not religious. Im just hungry for Jesus and want to be consumed by his Holy Spirit. Religion is formed by man. Praying for you miss.
