Matt, I resumed serious playing recently and your guitar/gear streams really help me grow as a player. My teen years were pre-RU-vid so learning your riffs meant some crappy, half-baked tab! Crazy how times change. Been a fan since Ascendancy, congrats on your evolving success!
How do you find the time to raise a family, game, keep in shape, write albums with your band, tour the world, and stream for a living? I'm only 28 and my body throws a tantrum if I sit funny for two hours. However you manage it; respect.
Matt you always seem so humble in everything I have been a proud fan of trivium since 04 I will not lie I was pretty jealous that there is a bigger metal scene in Florida cause I always wanted to be a Rockstar.but in indiana people into mainstream music but we are the same age and I have been playing since I was 12 self taught guitar player and any how I am glad you guys are playing that heavy stuff I enjoyed you all playing I was worried when you did vengeance falls and s.i.t.s but you came out of it keep up the heavy stuff I also feel you will be bigger then metallica and can't wait to see you guys again September 18th it's gonna be killer had v.i.p for it last year but show was canceled cause of covid but now it's all price jacked way more now
Is it just me, or does the background music sound like it could be the demo version of Endless Night? I remember Matt saying that Endless Night was originally written for a friend to be used in some sort of commercial. Or am I just overanalysing things? 😂
Hey man awesome setup and love your streams , love that you got sponsored by elgato , but man I was really curious how you have your audio setup with your gear.
So…how you get guitar sound into your streams? Maybe it can be done for video calls? Like having guitar lessons online and teacher will hear amp sim with IR's
An audio interface like the Focusrite 2i2 would work. You'd have an input channel for your mic and a separate channel for your guitar so you could gain them separately.
