Matt Kilmer plays the hell out of this drum. I did a week-long workshop where he was also playing, and both he and the drum held up beautifully. I'd recommend both of them to anyone who was in the market for either.

Thank you very much! fyi - I never actually studied with Glen Velez. My teacher is the great Jamey Haddad. He teaches a similar technique but coming more from a jazz mentality as opposed to a classical background.
