What are you on about - MIller has never been a GM? Are you confusing Matt Miller with Mike Mayock? If you are talking about Mayock then you're still wrong - he was a decent GM, stuck with not much power under the worst drafting HC of all time, Jon Gruden.
Thank you for being the first sensible person to say the Raiders aren't drafting a QB in round 1. I'm so sick of hearing about Raider QB moves ! AOC4 showed incredible progression ,we're not desperate like Minnesota or Denver !
My mock, following the Stefon Diggs trade: #42 - Defensive tackle. T’Vondre Sweat of Texas-Austin #59 - Safety. Tyler Nubin of Minnesota #86 - Cornerback. Khyree Jackson of Oregon #123 - Tackle. Blake Fisher of Notre Dame #127 - Tight end. Theo Johnson of Penn State #188 - Linebacker. Marist Liufau of Notre Dame #189 - IOL. Sataoa Laumea of Utah #238 - Wide receiver. Jordan Whittington of Texas-Austin #247 - Edge. Xavier Thomas of Clemson
To have Sweat and Frazier go back to back before the Cowboys pick is a kick in the teeth for me. I would take either one at 56. Johnathan Brooks is a great consolation prize.
100000% agree on Maye. Kingsbury knows the UNC OC. Two other coaches on WAS know Maye. One recruited him. And they all run a version of the air raid similar to what Maye ran at UNC. Maye to WAS 100% (now watch us both be wrong at it be Penix or something lol).
Ngl, if were talking straight first round. That cardinals trade down, going from potentially getting MHJ trading back and still getting Brian Thomas, INSANE value for Arizona
I’d love for the Panthers to snatch Allen at 101. Outside of Legette, I hated the rest. I would’ve snatched Payton Wilson at 39 instead of Suamataia and then at 65, that would’ve been whoever the best Nose Tackle is because Shy Tuttle is not it.
Cause if you take his best plays he’s looks like top 5 prospect but as soon as you watch even a little tape you realize how inconsistent he is as a player
Jack gibbins is the titans linebacker you were thinking of. He is good but his speed limits him quite a bit. Ottis resse looked ok the last few weeks but is super raw. I like the cooper pick. Him or brasswell are the two guys im starting to learn twords for the titans in round 2. And if Alt is gone and we can get lucky and pick up a second and get both as well as troy fuatanu that would be one heck of a consolation prize.
3:20 I would absolutely accept that trade if I was the Cardinals because the broncos have mortgaged their future so much that those first round picks have a very high chance of being top 5 picks
Odunze would be a fine pick for the Bears but Brock Bowers would be a fcking great pick for the Bears. MHJ and Brock Bowers are EASILY the two best players in this draft. If.the Bears are truly seeking BPA then Brock Bowers should be the pick for a new OC(Waldron) who offense is a 12 personel.
My Houston Texans could not get Byron Murphy II, Jer’Zhan Newton, or even T’Vondre Sweat, so now we are forced to settle for Braden Fiske, who is too small (i.e., undersized) to play IDL in the NFL. He is more of an edge guy than he is a true IDL. I really DO NOT LIKE this pick. Tyler Nubin appears to be an okay pick at #59. Beaux Limmer? Din’t we use a pick to take Juice Scruggs last year? Why do we need Limmer at #86??? Barf 🤮 on the first three picks and all that follows.
I absolutely hate this mock draft for my Broncos, man. 😂 in my “ideal” (but I know unlikely) scenario I would trade down to still get a much needed 2nd round pick and draft Bo Nix. I really do think Bo Nix is the best fit for the Broncos. But oh well, great video as always, brother.
I definitely don't see cam hart who once again shutdown Marvin harrison jr and audric estime getting picked in the 4th rd and picked after blake fisher and I don't see marist liufau getting drafted after fisher and baptiste but I'd definitely like to see baptiste drafted in the 4th rd
If the patriots pass up the opportunity to draft a top QB and trade down and don’t get a top OT and top WR with 11 and 23 fans would riot. Cooper is a great prospect but if any Pats pick within the first 3 rounds isn’t offense then there needs to be serious questions about everyone in the building lol
Ik interivisional trades are rare but weve seen them happen more recently. Do u think there is a shot that the Broncos and Chargers could swap first rounders if the Broncos give up a lot. The reason i ask is just because i have a hard time seeing the cardinals trade if marvin Harrison is still there.
Oh it got even better. They grabbed an edge in round 2😂😂 joke getting dline with our first 2 picks. Guess we don’t need a secondary even though blitzing isn’t in our playbook
Millers has a intriguing point if dallas does go Mims, gotta remember he is a bit raw right now. so they could put him at guard with Tyler at tackle. Also don't forget the cowboys o-line coaching staff. Larry Allen sometimes comes in to teach/mentors these guys,he also was HUGE an played guard. so this makes since at least on a short term bases. but anyway hate he went RB in the second round for dallas. i would like to see a Center an Guard in the first 2 rounds unless a guy like Sweat is there for the defensive interior
As a Pats fan if we trade down and get that haul of draft picks. -11th pick Fashanu LT good pick one of the better LT prospects we need a franchise LT now can't hate the pick. -23rd pick cooper cb no I rather take Mitchell wr we need an upgrade at this position. -34th T'Vondre Sweat dt/nt pairing him with Barmore, judon and maybe 2nd year Keion white sounds like a good dline especially since sweat can apply pressure something only Barmore does in the interior. Also would like wr Xavier legette or cooper beebe LG because cole strange is looking like a bust. -68th pick McMillan no we don't need another slot guy I rather we get blake fisher RT as a depth piece behind onwenu or incase injuries happen again in the guard position onwenu goes to guard and plug fisher at RT. I also would like CB khyree Jackson right here. -103 rattler qb not really sure I rather we get cade stover TE or a DE like mohamed kamara
@@zackhurwitz9441 I mean you're not wrong I would prefer getting a qb with the 3rd pick myself I wouldn't mind using the 23rd pick on Penix if we need to reach it all depends if the Patriots really want Maye or Daniels
Jack Gibbens is the Titans ILB you're thinking of. I have a higher opinion of him than most. He would be the green dot guy, playcaller...which not all LB are cut out to do. He's physically limited, but I think some of that is a bit overblown. If it came down to it and let's say Darrius Robinson is there at #38, I'm taking him all day over any of the ILB's. Denico Autry 2.0.
"The Raiders need someone opposite Adams" - um, no they don't - they have a solid WR group in Adams, Myers and Tucker, and a great young TE in Mayer. What they need is a starting outside corner (not addressed until 148) and a Guard (not addressed at all if the 2nd rounder is a Tackle). Didn't Miller used to be good? He clearly has a very shaky grasp of the Raiders' roster and needs.
walking away from this mock, you have the Bengals picking CB;.... THEY NEED TO PROTECT BURROW!! Offensive line 1 Sweat 2nd round then whoever. why do you guys make this so hard?
I would cry tears of misery if these are the two players the Pats draft, especially Cooper. Pats do not need a CB, it’s like the last position we need. Just awful.
*I’m one of the Pats fans who LOVES the idea of the Patriots trading down. They don’t have starting receivers OR a starting Left Tackle. It’s not even concrete whether Onwenu will play Tackle or Guard on the Right side. Trade back to 11 and then trade up to 6 to get Malik Nabers. Then use the 23rd pick to trade up for Fashanu in the mid/early teens. Trade a Day 2 pick for Higgins. I’m content with this team rolling with Jacoby Brissett because no matter what the Patriots do this off-season…they’re not competing for a Super Bowl. Take a QB in one of the Day 3 rounds and develop them if you want. With the extra pick you have next year you can take a swing and package the picks to bring in the next franchise QB. They’ll also have a solidified offense ready for them compared to drafting one this year and throwing them to the wolves with the offense they currently have.*
The Patriots have mentioned MULTIPLE times Onwenu is playing tackle unless there’s injuries or some crazy development by Sidy Sow that kicks him inside. Also, you couldn’t keep both firsts trading up to six, or at very minimum, you definitely wouldn’t have a second. And that’s completely ignoring the trade up for Fashanu lol. Then you want to trade a day 2 pick (which would not be anything less than a second) for Tee. How many picks do you think the Patriots have??? This is probably the least realistic take I’ve ever seen 💀
Cardinals wont trade out if MHJ is there. These "insiders" forget that they already have 11 picks in this years draft and 6 in the top 90.. It's becoming laughable
I hope Bengals draft Jackson powers Johnson at center move karras to left guard or johnsokn at left guard no sacks given up Steelers want him badly and payback is due they always seem to jump us or take who we like. I remember Marvin Lewis saying he thinks his war room is bugged jokingly. Then Bengals to sweat in second 3rd te or rb bpa rest of way. Definitely don t want Steelers to get jpj
Dude we didn't take a kicker Bro, this guy's draft sucks. I know it's not your picks. My Lions would never make these picks. Brad Homes would be ran out of Detroit
Quit penciling in Fiske as Texans first pick. Ryans fired the DL coach and did not resign 3 guys. Fiske arms are toooo short and he wins only on quickness. We traded Malik Collins for this very reason so stop with this BS like all the other mock guys
Broshmo, Fiske is not even on the Texans board because not have the traits Ryan’s looks for. Long arms and wingspan are key to his defensive line. You guys in the mock draft community are playing yourself like suckers every time you put him in this position.
He isn’t a better player right now but he also is younger and has more upside and a better arm and can very quickly be a great qb. Very much looks like Justin Herbert to me Daniels looks like if Kyler wasn’t 2 feet tall idk if he has quiteee the arm strength Kyler has but he’s probably more accurate and can actually see the middle of the field
That was an awful draft for the chiefs lol worthy is just fast, that’s it. Safety early, I get the thought but no. Two DTs is crazy to me. No offensive line help early. This draft sucks lol
Please stop comparing the Vikings trading up with the Patriots to the 49ers. The Dolphins had a QB, the Patriots don’t. People are majorly underestimating how much trading up with a QB needy team would be. There’s an entire article justifying 4 first round picks, with anything less being pretty unrealistic. It would likely cost 3 firsts and Jefferson, or 4 first round picks for the Patriots to drop out of the top 10, as they’d miss every blue chip player in every position of need. It doesn’t make sense for the Patriots to trade back outside of the top 10 this year, unless it was an insane amount of picks or assets. Not to mention, Mayo said it would cost a bag to trade out of the spot, and both him and Wolf have said they’re not trading the pick and drafting a QB. Everything that comes out of their mouth now is all smoke. Saying they would trade the pick is to get some offers and see how dumb GMs will be. That’s why Mayo said that
@@CP-vd4me no pick is worth four firsts…..didn’t happen for any other top five trade up…..if someone wrote that, it’s incorrect speculation….Carolina didn’t even do that for the first pick last year…..no need to throw in Jefferson, especially since his new team would have pay the huge next contract…..Minnesota uses both firsts they have this year and possibly next years first, may get away with just a second….
@@brianmyers4444 again, maybe you didn’t understand what I was saying, the Patriots are drafting a QB in this draft. Give me a reason why you think moving outside the top 10, missing out on the top 4 QBs, top 2-3 OTs, top 3 WRs is good for the Patriots? I know you’ll try to make the argument that they’ll move back, then move back up, but why would anyone at 5-9 (because the Jets won’t trade with the Patriots) move outside the top 10, for what would only make sense for the Patriots, as much less than what they got from the Vikings? You’re not understanding that the Vikings want to trade with a rebuilding team. That doesn’t happen. The Bears traded their pick with the Panthers because they had a QB, and they got 2 firsts, 2 seconds, and DJ Moore. They got draft capital and filled a player of need. You’re trying to argue that trading picks is worth it for a team with no players. Has never happened, never will. The Patriots will get picks from the Vikings and Jefferson to move outside of the top 10. I know that’s not what you Vikings fans want to hear, but there is no argument justifying your logic.
@@CP-vd4me let's go over some of your points....a) Not a Vikes fan so that's your first mistake…not even close…b) you are speculating on NE taking qb... I think you are most likely right but not at 3 imo…c)also speculating about what front office “mean’t” ….first thing they said was legit and now all isn’t…no way to know which is which....d )dropping out of top ten in no way precludes you from getting a blue chip, player-no way to know what happens ahead and more than ten blue chips exist so moving to 11is not a prohibitive move back... OT and WR are deep positions e) no number one pick is worth 4 firsts or three 1’s and a player of JJ caliber-none-both firsts this year and one next year gets it done…maybe add another somewhere next year…f) Pats would then need to pay Jefferson…why do that when you get a quality wr on a rookie contract….g) The difference between McCarthy, Penix, and Nix is not that large from top 3….so not picking top ten means if you want one, still available at 11 h) Don’t want to speculate on moving down then back up, much less likely than sticking at say 23-and picking another starter at a position of need like OT/WR...but they could do something else with 23 to strengthen positions of need...i)you say the Vikes want to trade with a rebuilding team...aren't the Pats a rebuilding team?...then you say “You’re trying to argue that trading picks is worth it for a team with no players. Has never happened, never will”….this is total nonsense…..teams that have “no” players trade picks to acquire more than they had all the time…that’s an answer on how they get away from having “no” players…first example i came up with is 4-12 Browns in 2011 traded pick 6 to Atlanta for 5 picks over two years…same type of situation for Pats if they trade back with the Vikings ....am i missing anything.....
Matts an alright dude and is pretty smart in general but even i have been blasting on him the last year or 2 on his decisions on things lol. It's sorta funny i feel the more he has moved up the rankings into a more high profile job. The less he gets right or knows about teams as much. When he 1st started out he was VERY VERY GOOD i think it was on bleacher report back like 4 or more years ago. Not sure if he just doesn't have as much time as he use to do to the workload or right to detail teams.
You cool and all bruh but this whole drake Maye top ten thing needs to die already. Drake Maye is not it yo. Look at the missed throws and how bad they are and how open the wideouts are sometimes. It just gets harder at next level. I just don't see it with Maye but best of luck to bro and hopefully he ends up in best situation possible.
@@Broshmo for sure....it's not just you. It's a majority that he is this guy and I don't see it. I am just not sure what people see. He is young...I just think he needs to sit and he is a mid to late 2nd rounder. I could be off base as well
Hey me too buddy. I mean success also relies so much on their landing spot and situation as well. For me the arm talent is among the best in this class. I would put it only behind Williams.
Patriots aren’t trading down when they NEED a bonafide franchise QB 😂 Who makes these mocks ?! This is the best QB in a while and its not guaranteed that the Patriots will be in striking range next year so terrible take
