this made me cry so hard. oh god, that little boy just kills me every time

5 years later this song still is popping in my head. ♡

I've watched this video like 15 times and I still cry every Damn time at 3:27... for those who disliked it because "it's supposed to be about headphones" it's is about headphones. Those little things in their ears are their headphones. When wearing headphones one feels almost unstoppable. That's what it's like for them. I'm not calling those dislikes out or anything just clearing things up and giving my opinion.

Seeing the little boy hearing for the first time... God. Oh, my God. I am still crying as I write this. I was just clicking through and noticed a song by Matt that I hadn't heard yet. Damn, Matt... I can't stop crying with happiness for these people. Thank you, Matt, for your kindness.

Always making a difference in peoples lives through music and aid. If you have never met Matt he is the warmest kindest soul you will meet. There just not many people out there especially in the music industry like him. His music can influence the course of ones life his empathy and support can make them simply change a life. Matt is the kind of artist that will sign an autograph for you but would rather talk to you and know you!! Keep up the amazing work Matt!!!! (Matt Union College)

I'm a 21-year-old cancer survivor, who suffers from a hearing loss as a result of that, so I find this song to be extremely relevant to my life and it's awesome to know that artists like this are making music like this, and doing projects like this. It's great. I personally would not have known about this song, since it's not what I normally listen to but a friend of mine recommended it to me and it brought a smile to face today!

I hope Matt and his team aren't disappointed with the amount of views or likes they got on this video. I think this is one of the most beautiful videos and songs in the world, and even if they didn't reach 10 million people (like they should have), Matt (and team) you've touched me to my very soul and I thank you for doing incredible things like this.

I have never cried so much for a music video. As someone who has delt with hearing loss her entire life I think this is the best and most beautiful thing ever!!!!!! I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this!! Most people don't realize how big of an issue it is and if we can help them understand and help those who need it then that it the most amazing this ever!!!!!!!! Still crying here lol.

A friend sent this to me, today. She said the song reminds her of me. She had no idea that my Son is deaf, and wears hearing aids. I am a musician. It was always a heartbreaking sadness to me that there are ranges of sound my Son can’t hear, but also a profound gratitude for what he can hear, and his appreciation for music regardless of his struggles. Been away from my country for 11 years and to see someone help my people the way he did, with his art, and his kindness. It really touches me. Thank you.

Matt- We (my then-boyfriend-now-husband, my service dog, and I) have been following you since 2001 when I believe you were touring with Matt Fish and we first saw you in LA (where we grew up). We have since seen your shows numerous times in SF (near where I attended college), San Jose, San Diego, LA, and a few times in Boston (where we moved for grad school and have set up our life). You've always been so incredibly gracious and friendly as has your extended team. Following one of your SF shows (I believe at GAMH - possibly the last performance on that particular tour), we were welcomed by some of your close friends (including your wife) while we waited for a quick pic. Despite the late hour, you spent a good amount of time just chatting with us. Since that time, my medical condition progressed further and I began to lose my hearing as part of that process. I'm lucky to live in MA where I have full coverage from the state medicaid that including hearing aids. We've purchased tickets to a few of your local concerts in the past few years but haven't been able to attend (twice due to hospitalization now). We're not able to get out much anymore so we've stopped attending concerts (infection risk!) so I never got the chance to tell you how incredibly moved I was by this video and your generosity. Your music and lyrics have brought great peace and happiness to us through the years. I don't know if you read or even personally receive these comments, but I wanted to thank you. I do hope this reaches you because I know personally how great is feels to know that your life and what you do actually reaches and touches someone during a difficult time. So thank you. Those people so happy to finally in their life hear a word...touch deep in the heart

I love this video so much. I was bullied at school. I am now homeschooled. I heard this song and resized it had the some of the perfect lyrics to describe by life. "I fell invincible with my headphones on" is the line that really describes by old life. When I was bullied I always put my headphones on and simply got lost in the music. The people who wrote the music didn't write any hurtful lyrics either. Since I moved from Minnesota I actually realized life started going up for once in my life. I now live by the beach, I am homeschooled, and have made some friends through my homeschooling program.

I'm not into his music, but he's a compassionate being. I truly respect & have an admiration for humanitarians.

This song meant something completely different to me until I saw the video. This is incredible and wonderful, I love it. 🎶Everybody wants to be with me, but I got all I need. I feel invincible with my headphones on🎶

I'm in tears....this is so touching. I take for granted at what I have, so to see people light up when they get back something they loss is just heartwarming.

For some reason, I couldnt stop singing it in my mind, then I decided to search it here and found this life change video. It lifts me up! The reasok why he doesnt get too many views is simple: he didnt sign the pact, he serves to the light, to the good ones. the others serve the rain m*n. #Sencillo!
