Even if he's a C list celebrity, he's still a celebrity, as opposed to a civilian who might just be a groupie...she's still definitely giving groupie. At that point she has to maker herself noticeable and worthy of his attention and time. He's making millions, she's barely making thousands. He has a fan base, she has a friendzone. Let me tell you about the side you don't see. All the thirsty dudes in her contacts, she never gave a chance to, because they didn't have status. She wanted a rockstar, that doesn't come cheap. So yes, you have to make and maintain yourself, worthy of his time.

I 100% had that while I was breastfeeding, I thought I was CRAZY for having such a rollercoaster of emotions. And I have twins so I’d just be sat up in bed in the same place all day and night for 6-9 months feeling the worst and best I’ve ever felt
To that girl who was told that she was second to that man’s career… that is a terrible thing to be told and I’m sorry you’re going through it! Just know that it’s good that he was honest with you about that - if a family is a priority for the man, he shouldn’t be hesitant to get that going. You know what you want, sounds like he’s not sure, which means he needs to decide (if he loves you it SHOULD be an easy decision, but I know that’s not always the case) and if he is sure about that career thing…well… he’s got another thing coming and he’ll have to learn on his own time that it’s not going to bring him the meaning he thinks it will…. And it really frickin sucks that you’re on the receiving end of that decision. Continue being yourself and Chris is right, even though it’s hard sometimes, you are worthy of love and valuable on your own. Though we do find further meaning in our relationships with others. They are important. The people you put yourself around is important and you want them on the same page with you when it comes to what you find meaningful, ESPECIALLY who you want to spend the rest of your life with. Your vulnerability shows your strength and knowing what you want can be hard, so good on you for that! Seriously. You’re ahead of the game as far as I’m concerned!
