Great Collection! Funny how you have a display full of one line nearly complete then a random figure from another toy line hanging out in there. Thanks for sharing!
What a collection! The dizzy dizzy dinosaurs brought me back! Totally forgot about that! Tmnt stuff is nutty and I fully agree on inhumanoids. Mint wonder bread WTF!!!
Thanks man, I appreciate it! The fun of our era is definitely the crazy and colorful variety of the many, many toy lines. So much awesomeness to collect.
I'm still missing 10 figures out of the last 17 but I was able to find pop-up saber R2-D2. I bought it for $2 back in 2008. I agree, those days of good deals on vintage Star Wars figures are long gone. Great video Matt.
Thanks so much. You still never know what you’ll find at yard sales and flea markets though. It’s definitely harder these days, but that’s the thrill of the hunt!
Good point about it not being a competition. I think a lot of us get into a competitive mode or want to keep up with others when it should be about collecting what you like.
Glad you caught that. Just enjoy the hobby! And if others get you into a different line, that’s fine. But collect it if you actually like it, not to compete.
Been watching several of your videos and want you to know that I really like how you do them. While I'm not a Turtles fan, you passion for what you collect really shows. Been a toy fan for years (Transformers G1, Joe, and MOTU) and just now really starting to get into the collecting side of things. I also appreciate your knowledge and information you bring to your videos. Thanks and maybe I'll run into you one of these days. Going to Lexington Con next weekend?
Thank you Justin! I appreciate the kind words and I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel. I was actually at the Columbus Toy Show in Ohio this past weekend!
You have an amazing collection Matt! As a fellow TMNT collector, I especially liked seeing your Turtles collection and it is impressive 😊 . Thanks again for the video 👍
Second verse even better than the first. I love the vintage SW figures in the black cases. The Inhumanoids monsters always look great. Awesome WWE collection. I never collected Turtles but I dig em. Love all the colors. That music reminds me of playing the Nintendo game with my little brother. I was terrible at the jumps. Lol
Just curious about your Star Wars wall display units--never seen them before. Are they commercially available, or did your Dad make them for you? It looks like they close with magnets. They display your SW figures beautifully.
I have to say it again Matt, your collection is really impressive and love how all is displayed. Looks like a toystore back in the 80s. Great job buddy. And you are clearly reaching Andys collection size buddy. You guys have amazing collections. Love that you show them to us fellow collectors with these entertaining vids. I only have a small room to work with so I have to really choose what I buy and display. Are you able to display your collection completely in your new home?
Thank you so much for your continued support! I suppose we have to maximize the space we have and do the best we can. I will have a decent sized room for a good portion of the collection. We hope to finish the basement relatively soon, and that’s where my Star Wars will go.
@@ReeYeesRetroToys No thanks. You more than deserve the support Matt. I really enjoy your content. Awesome that you will be able to display most of your collection. Cant wait for the final result. Good luck with the basement. Roy.
You should have them turtles in cases. I had that wwf hasbro Akeem on card from my childhood bought it when the internet first came out in the 90s for 10 bucks COD and gave it to my exes son about 10 years ago I wish I didnt and all my loose hasbros from my childhood. NO GI Joes btw!?
