where would've we been today if it wasn't for Hendrix........ Matt sounds like 90% Hendrix. Good old Jimi redefined this instrument for the short period of time he was around!
All true except matt sounds absolutely nothing like jimi. Plays nothing like jimi may have played a bit of the blues but he was not a blues guitarist. Two totally different styles. Matt sounds more like If BB played a strat with some gain. Hendrix was very inspirational but this sounds absolutely nothing like him unless your referring to red house and even then not even a little bit

+fenderfan those pickups are either going to be Lindy Fralin or Amalfitano SVL spec pickups. This video was likely to be Lindy Fralins, Simon had the Amalfitano's later I believe.
Stan Esposito I believe he doesn't like the compression that occurs with the cascading gain stages that occurs with D-style amps with the OD stage added.
Its made by Free the Tone and the model is SOV-MS overdrive. The fancy delay is also free the tone. Royal blue is Mad Professor and so is the Deep Blue Delay
