We caught up with Matt as he was rehearsing with his latest supergroup, Deadland Ritual. The heavy hitter was rocking Gretsch G5 hardware with his Brooklyn double bass rig…That Great Gretsch Everything!
Great looking Drum Kit.. Super heavy duty hardware. Me and Bobby put our approval on Gretsch Drums … Got Dang It.. You just can't beat that great Gretsch Sound !! Gretsch Drums and Propane... their both the best !!
I love it! I'm proud of my home state of SC! We've plenty of ppl that think we're a podunk part of the US. But we've got a lot going on for such a backwater as we've been thought of. We've got Automag, BASF, BMW, Boeing,Bose, Campbell Soup China Jushi USA, , Dupont, FN , International Paper, Gretsch, Michelin, Nephron Pharmaceuticals and Zues, just to name a few business operations located in the Palmetto State. I intend to buy a set of Gretsch Brooklyn drums asap.
I mean, he can clearly play, and Gretsch clearly know drums, but it's a bit weird to show closeups of things wobbling throughout a promo for rock-solid hardware.
He reminds me so much of Weiland. I think they started as best friends and drug buddies, but by the end of VR, they hated each other. But damn those drums look good.
Never did like Matt sorum as a drummer. Not saying he's not a good drummer I just always got a weird vibe about him. He doesn't seem real to me. I get the feeling he's a put on.
thats a goos question and I wondered the same thing myself. Little know fact, but Izzy did show up to a rehearsal with slash and duff, but he bailed out as soon as Axl and him stared arguing.
dogmart.. have you checked out the new heavy duty Gretsch Cymbal & Hi Hat Stands ?? They will blow Yamaha and Tama off the stage. They are equal to the most heavy duty Pearl Hardware. Gretsch has really stepped up.
