God damn I love Matt and Trey.

I’ve been a big fan since south park debuted when I was in seventh grade. I hope to see some new content soon from these guys! We love you!

I hope Trey & Matt release a making of special during the covid lockdowns. I think the 6 days to air is 10 years old this year?

I hope they got enough behind the scenes footage to do a proper mini documentary about the remotely-produced episodes. I was hoping that 2 minute video they released back in september was a trailer for something to come. it seemed fascinating as fuck. those big ass dell monitors, upgrading the fuck outta the office network, bad hard drives, distracting toddlers and pets. ripe for at least a 20 minute documentary with narration and interview spliced in.

These specials have been some of the funniest South Park in ages. I'm gonna need some more Sassy Justice though. Just throwing that one out there.

Considering they were stuck in that situation, not surprised that many fans weren't as impressed with the specials. I personally have not watched them yet, but I have watched everything except the specials. Also, I am glad that they aren't all about Randy because I don't really like him anymore after everything. Randy has gotten so much showtime in later seasons and if you like Randy then you got to see real development there, but I don't really want too much Randy, even if he has changed and gotten to a further point in his development. I like an every now and again episode about Randy and I know many others like it that way as well.

I wouldn't mind if we ended up getting a new south park episode maybe once a month if that would be physically possible for them to do remotely once they find their rhythm. Instead of having 2 months of new episodes in a year since they don't cut the season in half along with a shorter episode count. They have been forced to be both topical and do catch up. Don't get me wrong I've loved those seasons. Or at least certain episodes in them. But the idea of getting a sort of 4-6 week update year-round could turn out to be an interesting experiment.

So there should be another special coming soon? Nice. And I hope that they get to actually shoot that new movie he was talking about, I’m curious about what that might be. I remember hearing Trey and Matt a year or two back saying they had some ideas for some live-action movies (so, not South Park-related). They haven’t made a proper feature film since Team America!

Supposedly, Trey Parker is going to appear on Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Can someone confirm or deny this?

I wonder if Matt Stone ever was aware that he has a similarity to Terence Hill, the Italian comedic actor of a duo with Bud Spencer (with some comedy Spaghetti Western offerings and in all kinds of other settings). Seemingly more popular in Europe than they were in the US, though they are fun anyway. (Terence Hill also looks like an actor on a fake 1960s Italian action comedy movie poster ["Operazione DYN-O-MITE!"), though based on Leonardo Dicaprio [and maybe referencing another real world actor], in Once Upon a Time In Hollywood.) And Matt and him don't look super-alike, but they have features and a build which one doesn't see as much in others as in them.
