SPOILERS FOR 70 YEAR OLD BOOK * I get it, it's an adaptation and that alone suggests change * ...but Sauron should be in power for a LOOOOOOONG time before he is defeated. * A couple of decades just doesn't cut it. * Sorry * :) * I have had a bit of a rethink about what my version of Rings of Power would be... Season 1: The forging of the Rings... Season 2: 500 year Time Jump; Life under Sauron's thumb... Season 3: 1000 year Time Jump; Isildur's childhood... Season 4: Isildur's adulthood ending with Sauron's defeat... Season 5: Isildur's corruption by the ring ending in his death.
