Dude, this is probably one of the best built, well thought out 27' fishing boat i've seen. sounds like you guys put a lot of thought into the set up. been mentioned, only change i'd make is twins. i love the cooler and bait station. awesome boat man.
Hi my names Damion I have just started fishing 3 months ago and I’m 27. I’m amazed at the somewhat addiction Ive developed. Does Matt ever take the fishing fans out on the water or just famous people because one day out with you Matt would increase my knowledge dramatically. Are there competitions to win a day out with Matt? If not this could be a great idea if your not too busy. I’d be keen I live in Tauranga and have a boat rod if your ever needing a water boy!👍
Jeez Matt , what a beauty , pure fishing weapon . Congratulations on your set up and I checked out all the other vids to do with this launching , everything plus more , set up for ease of handling and fishing . This is what it`s about . Your sponsors have delivered the goods to your liking , just shows how they appreciate you Mr . Fisherman Extraordinaire !!
That looks like the boat I want, it's unbelievable. What a huge amount of thought and detail in designing this machine. Make the most of it mate, it's something most of us only dream about. Cheers, enjoy.
Damn good ideas on this boat. I’ve never seen anything like it. Incredible thinking went into this boat. Your cushioned seats are awesome, never seen the likes of them. If only you’d double wall, foam filled the hull, you would have the world’s best, unsinkable, fishing boat. A worry free boat. Once, outside the Golden Gate. I ran my 22’ Boston Whaler Revenge into a dead head log. It cut a 3” deep 6” long gash into the hull that would have sunk almost any small boat on the water. On my Whaler, it was nothing. Not a drop of water inside the hull. Several trips later I decided to patch the gash and took care of it. Sold me on unsinkable Whalers forever. UNLESS, you guys would fill a boat like yours with the foam!
That is one sweet fishing machine you have there. I like that you have it set up how you want it. Everyone is different on how they want things for the most part & I can tell you this it is a amazing set up. I personally would do a few things different but that is my preference not yours & respect your way like we all should. I would love to have this boat for great lakes in Michigan fishing. Enjoy this wonderful fishing boat & good luck on all your fishing trips. From the USA Roger (not roger over & out)
I truly love the new boat. It's so bad ass and the best part LOOKS bad ass like it can handle anything and won't break haha. The way he set it all up is pretty much perfect. After watching this I'm now looking into getting the exact same setup for use in Florida. What really caught my eye is how aggressive and bad ass it truly looks. Doesn't look like a wimpy type of boat. Actually reminds me of a police boat type. Just hardcore. Man. Again awesome job setting it up brotha. Be Safe
Wow. These are super impressive. I wish you had a dealer un the mid eastern United States. This boat beats anything I have seen in this country. I’m sure they come with impressive prices. It quality always does.
At first I thought they would be crazy expensive but aluminum is very cheap. The cheapest most readily avaliable metal out there. I mean it's no john boat buy you see how cheap those are. I would be very surprised if this boat cost more than a 27ft fiberglass express boat from say Grady white lr albemarle. A brand new 27 express from them will easily set you back 150,000 maybe ever 250,000. I'm just guess here I'm saying that the boat in the video, just the hull cost 45,000 with no electronics or motor. Guessing just under 100k for how it sat in the video.
screw boats with flybridges I'd take This over any boat , except for a cruise ship , because then I could sell it and buy one of these , but I would of put two 350 yamaha outboards w/a bigger fish cooler, but legendary boat and why am I not fishing on ur boat yet!!!
mint boat bro, one day I guess, look forward to entering your online comps and maybe having a crack at fishing with yah man. May tangaroa continue to bless you an the crew.
Hi I have an idea for your boat when your standing on the roof and the boat is moving around you should put a screen protector of some sort so if your on the roof and there are some waves you don't fall on the solar panels and samage ken
Lot of good ideas in this beast... Are they really that much more stable with that ring around the outside of the hull on top of the V? I build my own boats, and am studying up for an ocean going ship... Found Stabicraft tonight, had been thinking about something like their design for a while now.
Ahh well. Couldn't afford that.. So I got the 1550 fisher instead.. 😂 😂 It's still a very safe handling boat stabicraft gave me a VERY GOOD DEAL thanks guys YA BLOODY Legends
I'm in the process of building a similar boat. Who makes that "Steering Lever" that you have on the rear helm? I can't seem to find anything like that.
Hi Matt. A few years ago I saw on one of your vids a mobile phone booster on your boat. Cant seem to find it again. What type and where do you get them? Cheers Richard
+troy roberts I'm a certifed 6G Tig welder and I actually love to see nice welds.. Also, an important aspect to keep in mind is that these welds are on Aluminum, not steel, not stainless. Rule of thumb, Don't mess with aluminum welds too much!
Hi Matt, obviously its impossible for you to reply to everyone but..Im looking at having a Icey Tek bin sitting in the middle of the deck like yours. How have you set it up so it doesn't slide around in slop? Cheers, Tom.
If that boat was "in the USA" they would have built a 'walk around cabin"(center cabin) a long time ago. I don't know how anyone can fish without walking around the bow. Love those Stabi's......too bad I know of only one in the whole state of Florida in the U.S. People here "just don't get it, when it comes to superior built Aluminum boats".
Love it except for one thing, the power setup. A boat that big really needs 2 motors for ease of maneuvering. Plus I hate Etecs although I haven't been on a boat with one of those newer ones. The older ones had fumes that made me sick
+Jordan M we had one that start first pop ever time you cant say that about all 2 strokes and we had litte 90 and did over 50 miles with a qutere of a tank and it didnt blow that much smoke on me anyway
+c mac Sorry mate not sure where I mentioned they don't start easily? Although I have one and they don't lol. I dunno I just found Etecs to be bad on fumes
Obviously matt just loves his boat / trailer / everything, surely no graft or money changed hands right? Its great how he named all of the things he paid full price for ...
He gets it for free from sponsors of his fishing show anyway if you wanna check out a better boat then his go on profile boats they are a beast ifs boat plus better looking in my books
I've been reading a few comments, and would like to ask: mention of crappy welding? I would expect the welding would be top class, so why are people saying this? Cost all up? I am guessing around $200K including everything? Tuna tubes? What are they, as I've never heard of them; there again I don't have a weapon like this to shoot offshore, which I am guessing they are used for? I'm guessing I won't get a reply from Matt or Ultimate Fishing as they don't seem to reply to commenters, so any person, please reply if you have facts, thanks guys.
john rogers tuna tubes are to to keep the tuna they catch for bait alive, they pump water up through the tube to simulate the the fish swimming through the water so it gets good water flow through its gills
john rogers there is nothing wrong with the welds people just think that they’re shit because you can actually see them since now days most welds get ground back so you can’t see them
@@landbasedfishingnz8109 Thanks for replying. Yeah, I wouldn't expect the welding to be rubbish on a boat of that quality. Well I was way off with my price guess lol. Quality costs; if only I had the money. Wow, really, those tubes are for that! Makes sense. Bloody hell, it's like science fiction some of the shit they come out with now. Makes my packaged prawns look sad.
Why are so many Ausi boats aluminum? Is it cheaper than fiberglass? Stateside we are 98% fiberglass boat manufacturers. Seems like over there it's the exact opposite.
@@tnoel374 I'm mildly exaggerating, but you can price a basic 7 metre plate boat at 125k, so a custom one with all the bells and whistles... wouldn't be hard to find that extra money spent haha.
