BEFORE this game CU was ranked: PFF grades: 41st defense overall 16th run defense 1st in tackles/tackling 3rd in linebacker behind Ole miss and Bama 9th overall offense After this game probably top 10 in stopping the run. Again, this ain't last years team.

CU has not given up 100yds to a runner this entire season and the only problem the defense had was with the QB run. The most points the defense gave up in the 2nd half is 7 points. For you to say the defense sucks does not support reality. Last year the defense allowed 35 PPG and this year it allows 23 PPG.

Have you forgotten that Colorado finished 1-11 a couple years ago? Don’t doubt Coach Sanders. He is a winner. Yes, he’ll move on to a bigger program soon, but he’s taken Colorado from a laughingstock to a top 25 program.

Here’s what you missed all year about CU, Matt: Colorado’s second half defense was doing well against teams and REALLY limiting them. Nebraska didn’t even score against us in the second half of their blowout. NEBRASKA. The signs were there if you were watching the games. I didn’t expect us to win by this much, but I did expect the defense to travel.
