That’s a shame, you do have to make sure you’re brushing right down to the skin, line brushing bit by bit with a slicker brush and then double checking with a fine metal tooth comb. Such hard work these longer coats! If your dog really wasn’t matted then that’s a shame that they did that!
@@gofetchgrooming I have had him for eight years now. The only person that groomed him right was the breeder, when I asked them to trim him. Unfortunately their work load increased, so I had to find other groomers who were nice, but totally missed the brief. I mentioned this to the breeder, who said I was not the first one to complain about this. It just seems a bit common place now, balding off the dogs. I have the brush,the steel comb and now my own clippers. I think it’s the old saying. Practice, practice, practice.and if you want something done, do it yourself.
