Most of these computers were sold as entertainment consoles. My friends just bought cartridges. I actually learned TI basic The cassette was not originally offered, I believe it was added to already boxed computers and a sticker was slapped on there.
I still have my childhood one of these, and I think the bespoke cassette cable for it too. Not much making me want to play with it these days though, wonder if there's an RGB mod for it?
I didn't know this computer exists. For me it is one of the most annoying stuff on earth seeing these broken cassetts. Did you type in the programs manually?
LN-T2342. Got it at Goodwill for $10. I've been looking for TVs that are old enough to have a boatload of different input connectors and this one has about any type you need: Antenna, HDMI, component, s-video, etc.
