I really enjoy these kinds of diecasts. But if they do end up getting a next-gen Tach-O-Mint, I hope they do Tyler Reddick's 45 or Ross Chastain's 1! Or even Shane Van Gisbergen's 16 or 97, or better yet, Corey Heim's 50 or 11, or Chase Briscoe's 19 for 2025! I also got Denny Hamlin's Bristol win diecast too! 😃
AHHHHHH YES IM SO HAPPY THIS SERIES IS BACK! I saw the thumbnail and thought "oh wow another custom that's awesome!" BUT THIS IS OFFICAL?! I still need the 5 pack and Luigi and Guido to complete my collection. But now I have to add on! Good thing I a new job so now I can buy all the cool knock knacks I want! I love the design of Willys Butte as a lightning bolt!
Cool @@MrDocket but I wish that the new metallic NASCAR Lightning McQueen had the original Contingency sponsors, the 7 time Piston Cup logo and the old style rims of the 2021 version that would be totally awesome don’t you think?
I think that would be a Cars 4 look for Lightning, such a unique and fitting design! ⚡⚡⚡ I hope we'll get new racers, too - Tach o Mint, Walmart, Corrosion Seal, Pizza Planet, Al's Toy Barn - all from the Teaser trailer. I think the metallic might be enough to get all from the line, but it also depends on how to get them in Europe.
Great review as always Mr D! This NASCAR McQueen has a great design! This is what OTR McQueen should have looked like in my opinion! For this revival, I'm picking up McQueen and Carstin (since I never got his original release and is quite expensive). I'm gonna name this guy Team Radiator Springs NASCAR McQueen, as he has a lot of elements from both of those designs! Can't wait to pick this guy up!
This was a total surprise! I can’t decide which one is my favorite. I do love the metallic color & how it brings in the essence of Radiator Springs, but I just love the red & white design on the original with the classic tires.
What words can I say for this brand new 2024 mettalic NASCAR rusteze radiator springs lightning McQueen incredible great review my favourite car for all time lightning McQueen
When McQueen mentors Cruz since the racing center of Rust-eze was owned by Tex making rust-eze and dinoco now rust-eze and dinoco motorsports stating that McQueen can never be replaced as a spokescar of the company while living in the historical town of Radiator Springs where the racing hq was set for operation h McQueen and his late mentor Doc Hudson make sacrifices and battles to reach their current status they showed every racer has the stuff to claim the title of the championship they won 4 Piston-Cups and McQueen now a veteran champion won 3 as a 7 time champion in the series🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏁
Metallic NASCAR lighting McQueen looks amazing! Although I do prefer his normal NASCAR version because it has more details on his sides than his metallic version. But still I like it.
This blows the previous NASCAR McQueens out of the water, RC/DD! As far as the revival of the line, man, has a lot changed in just two years since the last releases for the line!
Amazing Diecast Review Disney Docket as usual, I'm still shocked that the NASCAR expanded universe has made it's return. I didn't think these cars would be launched so soon at Walmart, I thought it wouldn't come until September or October 2024.Is it me or that NASCAR McQueen hit earlier before GRC McQueen
Awesome review! It’s nice seeing the NASCAR line back, especially with this awesome McQueen. Something interesting to note is that his new design follows the NASCAR Next Gen decal layout, with the number pushed forward towards the front wheel. I wish the others had their designs altered to reflect this as well, but I suppose Mattel just wanted to make them Metallic and call it a day ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .
Hopefully they make a metallic Rowdy Revvin Busch. That’s the only one I never found from the original set. I like how they moved the door number forward a little bit to match the actual NASCAR cup cars from 2022 on
I did not expect NASCAR to return! Maybe Mattel will release some Next Gen racers of the unused sponsors from Cars 1, like Motor Oil, Texas Tea, Sludgee, and Yum! That would be awesome.
That's so cool and I would totally want this McQueen design in Cars 4 But... Why would the brand Rust-eze use Willy's butte as their new "next gen" simplified logo? I'm wondering Because the brand belongs to Tex Dinoco now, right? The brand itself doesn't have a link to Radiator Springs outside of McQueen being their flagship star
I would love to see revamps of the other NASCAR next gens in this line, although, some might have to be approached a bit differently to better match the current NASCAR roster. For instance, Rowdy Revvin Busch would have to be changed from 18 to 8, because his real life counterpart, Kyle Busch, no longer drives the number 18 car and is numbered 8. (It might also make sense that he isn't the Tach o Mint racer just because he no longer drives candy sponsored race cars anymore in the current roster.) As for Aric Almirolling, I'm not sure what they'll do with that diecast because Aric Almirola, the real life counterpart, no longer races in the NASCAR Cup Series. My best guess as to how they'll handle the Retread next gen is that they'll either retcon the original release completely, or revamp it like the others for 2024, but then give him a new name based on a different driver in this year's roster of NASCAR drivers.
First Glow Racers, then GRC, and now NASCAR. How many more expanded universe lines are Mattel going to add to this year? Also, what case is McQueen from?
I sense the scalpers... They're gonna find a way to find him and the reason why it might be a super chase or smthn But jokes aside, looks pretty good, not sure if im gonna pick him up or if my stores can even have the nascar diecasts in stock
Maybe... I have a feeling my local stores can probably get them in like with the glow racers. By the way, one thing I would add to the design is adding the piston Cup contingency sponsors under the Willy's Butte design kind of like the RS Lightning McQueen(like the Piston Cup, mood springs, no stall, revolting, and lil torquey pistons).
