I am a big fan of Matteo and accidentally came across this podcast. Man oh man was I pleasantly surprised!! Vinny too!! What a blast from the past! It's really great to see you all doing so well. Hope you are sticking with the comedy Vinny! Thank you so much for this!
@VINNYGUADAGNINO I am hooked on your podcast! Great guests and camaraderie. It's so refreshing to watch a celebrity ( I know that may make u cringe, but u are) be so open and honest and humble. And just so REAL! Relatable for sure. Thank you so much! Keep grinding Vinny! Excited to see what your future holds. Comedian? Actor? Author? Happily in love?! I wish u ALL the best kiddo! Let's Go!! Xo
Omg love every episode on your podcast watched it during my entire workout and almost fell off my treadmill from laughing 😅 u got this Vinny!!!! Love your co-host and all your guest!!!!
My grandmother is Italian from Naples and she talks about how when she came to America as a young girl, Italians were looked down on as poor immigrants and her parents told her it was super important to learn English and completely assimilate to American culture. It would have been so cool for our family to speak Italian to each other
That's why I tell Hispanic immigrants all the time to NEVER be ashamed to speak Spanish in this country. Their children will still learn English perfectly and yet they will remain bilingual. We can't let this country make the same mistake TWICE.
So sad the power of what another race can make you feel towards your own culture that you start feeling embarrassed to be... Glad people aren't like this anymore.
Canadian Italian here…we have Gino’s and Gina’s. American Italians are soo different yet soo similar it was wild to see the contrasts when the shore came out
Vinny: Is Nick from the 1920’s or you’re just doing that accent 😂 Vinny! Nick is hilarious, look at his RU-vid videos, he’s clueless but a funny clueless 😅 ❤
Ugh, my heart. Unfortunately there was a dumb feud within my family when I was 8-9 so after my Sicilian grandmother passed away, I lost touch with that side of my family. But over the years I learned that my Sicilian family came to America from Agrigento. So loved to hear that’s where some of Matteo’s family is from ❤️
Great episode, great vibe. Definitely learned a lot of new things about Italy. Still love how unhinged this podcast is 😅 taking note to not listen in the car with the windows down cause let me tell you the timing of people being in earshot every time ‘spicy topics’ were talked about was too perfect 😭☠️😂
I love Matteo, my wife refers to him as my favorite gay lol and his Chrissy D impression is creepy. I wasn't watching at that moment and it was spot on lol
My grandparents also would not teach their kids how to speak Italian for the same reasons. My maternal grandma told my mom no, we’re already the family with 14 kids, we’re not going to not speak English and stick out even more than we already do.
Anything matteo in im in! And for me from malaysia thank you matteo for introducing me to vinny coz i dont hve any idea who the heck he is.. now i know 😅 thanks for world introducing me to matteo n matteo to vinny 😊
I am ONLY watching this straight stuff FOR MATTEO… but it seems like there's such a large disconnect from Vinny, to reality… 🥴… he spent the apisode purging Matteo for tips on "how to comedy" 🥰
🙄🙄 Constantly interrupting Mateo mid sentence and then this stupid questions? 1min after he said his special is at 3Mio. views. "your special is a what? 300k?!" How is it called? "Hair plugs...?!" 🚮
Vinny is likeable, but he isn't very funny off the cuff. I guess you don't have to be funny in day to day life to be a comedian... I wonder what his stand up is like.
has no one told the girl to either get her buccal fat removed if she wants her face to suit the str8 flat, dead, lifeless hair style or add some curls, volumes to it. she would look better with bigger hair.
Agree. 'Matteo' (not his real name, it's Matthew...) is suuuuper annoying. Also, he can literally not shut up about being Italian...even though he's only 1/4th Italian and mostly Irish.
