matter for days, dude...that's why saurus is dope among other reasons, he's fucking honest...he always gives it up to his opponents when they're dope...and a huge fucking choke? he did free that little bit of the 3rd though...that's where you have to throw out round by round judging, a choke that epic is like an automatic L

Matter was straight robbed on that, respect for Saurus for manning up on that. If you listen to what the judges said and they basically gave it to him because of his heavy first round. Not how I would judge a battle at all but it is what it is.

Dizaster , Soul Khan , Madness , eminem it happens but Saurus didnt really chocked he kept it movin and free'ed , Saurus is top 5 freetsyle battler of all time theres countless hours of reestyel footage from HUGE , big and small events to prove that , and everything hes one in freetsyle battling HE DOMINATED ALL BATTLING EVENTS?COMPS FOR YEARS

It isn't Jumpoff 2006/2007 or Jumpoff street battles anymore dude, get with the program. Shit evolved into this, there are some freestyles blended in sometimes, and "mad flips bruv". IMO the only time someone should freestyle is when they do a "mad flip" bruv.

So battlers can turn up and spit one good round then go to the bar and let their opponent spit 3 rounds and come back and take the win. These judges have just changed the battle scene.

this is like a paradox in my head, thesaurus outbars the boy, outperforms the boy, outdelivered, mainly outeverything matter, even outchoked him. matter got the 3rd decisively and arguably the 2nd even though i think saurus had already spit enough to win that round... like i said a paradox in my head.

The people that lost because of chokes werent as good in what they did spit as thesaurus, i mean, did you get the Juice Supernatural bar? with the arrow? he could have whispered just that in matter's ear, left the building and still won. when your quality is that high, it doesnt matter if you choke, especially as his first 2 rounds were already a secure win, he won 2-1.

This was an epic battle. I'm a huge Thesaurus fan, but both rappers really put on a good show with their complex and well delivered bars.

Ive gotta give Matter mad props, hes dope...dont even need to choose a winner, both did there thing, wish The Saurus didnt choke though that would of made choosing a winner easy.... much respect to both.

Thesaurus definitely took round 1, no question. Round 2 was really close, but I still felt Matter had more structure and flow, just overall a better round, and Thesaurus had a slip up in this round as well. And obviously Matter took the third. Thesaurus is a beast, he just wasn't as consistent with his rounds here, not just talking about the choke, overall consistency of his bars too.

I think Genesis Elijah actually voted for Matter, at least he said something about if you choke you automatically lose the battle, but they put the wrong name up.

I would argue the 2nd round was taken by thesaurus, as he actually spat lots before the choke and finished that round strongly.
