As part of Jesus' answer to the disciples' question 'Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of God? (Matthew 18:1), in this weeks passage Jesus continues to direct their attention instead, to the welfare of each other disciple. Where in last week's passage Jesus used the parable of the lost sheep as a model of going after a fellow Christian who has injured you, in this weeks passage Jesus instructs you how to go about doing that. The primary goal: restoring to health your broken relationship with a fellow Christian that has sinned against you, saving that which is being lost.
