Matthew uses the word kingdom instead of God frequently because he's writing to Jews who feared using the Lord's name in vain. The other gospel writers are writing to gentiles who didn't have that fear.

I was deceived for years by hyper Calvinism but I have a question. Do you need to feel sorry at all for sin in order to repent?

Thank you sooooo much! How l pray pastors, teachers all those who claim to be saved, children of God would listen to this, believe it and proclaim, preach and teach it. I pray they would for Christ's sake stop spreading this false teaching of turning from all your sins before one can be saved. God bless you and continue to teach, preach the truths from God's word.

Actually, please read these verses: Leviticus 11:21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth; 22 Even these of them ye may eat; after his kind, and after his kind, and after his kind, and after his kind.

Sorry. V.22 should read: Leviticus 11:22 Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
