Matthew 6:5-8, The Spirit of Prayer 

Do not pray in public, follow Jesus

Thoughtless prayer is almost as offensive to God as heartless prayers. Anyone know this prayer? Is it thoughtless prayer ? Luke 1:28 (NIV) 28 The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” Luke 1:41-42 (NIV) 41 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! And a sword will pierce your own soul too.” John 2:3-5 (NIV) 3 When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”4 “Woman,[a] why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” 5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
