Thank you pastor for this amazing sermon! I soo related to the whole thing about being convicted and nearly hating what God wants you to do, but at the same time feeling happy and loving God because it means that He's truly real, He truly loves me, and I'm truly saved! I have to say though, I wish I had more peace in my life. It just feels like the majority of my life is too much of a struggle, I wish I had more joy and peace every day...

The building is the church/group of people gather together worshipping God. If the building is not built on strong foundation, it will collapse in no time. Tge foundation refers to tge truth/doctrine that is the faith to be the basis of belief/worship. Make sure we believe and worzhip the true God, Jesus!
+Jim Lovell If the saying was taken to mean that people should dig down to find the solid reliable ideas in the Bible what would they be ? Maybe the golden rule of Matt 7v12 is one of the few: treat others the way you would have them treat you. What about Romans 13v10, love does no harm to its neighbour. However the Bible is often double minded and contradicts itself. It is a good idea to type each word of the Bible into the wikipedia search box then read the article. Try 'foundations' and you will see that there are many types of foundation which work, very few actually rely on a direct attachment to bed rock unless it is for something like a dam, bridge or sky scraper. Having foundations directly onto rock does not necessarily make your house secure and certainly not indestructible. There are many things which could destroy the house no matter how good your foundations - tornado, landslide, avalanche, hurricane, sea storm, gas explosion, wood rot, termite attack, fire, flooding, earthquake. Look at the international space stations which has been a home for 15 years since 2000. Homes aren't expected to last forever. What about the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai which is consolidated sand - it works, might not survive a severe earthquake though. Building on a low lying rock beside a river or on a flood plain or at sea level could result in the structure being washed away. It is more a question of taking the risks into consideration and building accordingly. You might even build near a volcano fully aware that one day your house might be destroyed yet it might be worth the risk in order to farm the fertile soils there or at least you might not have a better option is you were poor.
+zytigon The "Foundation" of Matthew 7 and the parable that Jesus told has nothing to do with "digging down" and finding solid reliable biblical ideas to base one's life on. It is meant to illustrate the strength and stability that a person gains by both hearing God's Word AND ALSO putting it into practice in their daily life. (P.S. The Bible NEVER contradicts itself.)

What about John 18v20 which has Jesus say, "I said nothing in secret" compared to Mark 4v40 which says of Jesus, "He did not say anything to them without using a parable. +zytigon Jesus' comment that he had said nothing in secret simply means He had always spoken IN PUBLIC and not behind closed doors. That's why Jesus went on to say: "“I have spoken openly to the world. I have always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where all Jews come together." THAT is the meaning of saying nothing in secret. Jesus was NOT saying that He had never TOLD a secret. Secondly, your "contradiction" assumes that a parable and "secret" are one in the same thing. They are not. A parable is nothing more than a story. There was nothing "secret" in the telling of parables. These "contradictions" are nothing more than either ignorance of the text, or a willful attempt to make accusations. Either way, in the end there is nothing contradictory at all.

Foundation on the rock is foundation by faith in Jesus in our day life and foundation build on the sand is build on your own effort or self righteousness And John 6:40 the will of Him is believed in Jesus

I have just little worries that don't place well in my mind in 14min 43secs you said Judas was involved with the other Apostles when Our Lord Jesus Christ shared His Glory with His Apostles. Many people are saved ....who are Evil doers,so how is once Saved Always Saved? If you can't lose your Salvation? There is a list of people who will not enter the Kingdom of GOD.....some do these things who have been Saved.....Pastor Paul I am Truly asking this question because many believe they cant lose their Salvation....Adulterers, Fornicators, Drunkards, Thieves, etc. Shall not enter the Kingdom of GOD....but many have been Saved.

When you were talking about Saul, you mentioned that the Holy Spirit was gone and that a demonic spirit took over. That confuses and concerns me. If the Holy Spirit indwells in us at Salvation, then wouldn't what you said about Saul mean that he lost his salvation? I thought genuine believers who are saved and have the Holy Spirit, can't lose their salvation.
that was old testament when the Holy Spirit left believers due to sin but, now we have Jesus for the propiatiation for sin, i agree that was a terrible example.
