I appreciate the thoughts around 22 minutes in where they discuss the friends using their creative solution to get the man before the Savior. I don’t think this part was discussed but I love how the Savior first says, “Thy sins are forgiven thee.” then in response to doubting hearts he says. “But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed.” powerfully exemplifying that He has power to not only heal us physically but also spiritually.

Jesus was the most merciful being who ever lived. He reached out to the sick and healed them, He reached out to the crippled and gave them new legs to walk and He loved the lonely and forgave the sinners. He raised the dead to life, when they thought there was no hope. He is not just a political figure or just a man or teacher, He is God and He is divine. The people were filled with awe and reverence. They were filled with love and adoration for Him. They were devoted. The people's faith was their riches, they were poor and meek, but they had great wealth, their faith, which healed them. Their faith was a conduit to Gods fullness and the results were miracles." According to your faith be unto you and their eyes were open."

I know this isn't an exact synonym to "weather", but you could use "disaster" to keep the alliteration in the list of Jesus' works 😜

I have a student who asked why Jesus would not want others to know of the miracles he performed. I shared a similar response to the one you gave, could you share your reference so I can study further. I believe you said in the S&I manual but which one?
