I read this as "boiling everything I eat" and I was like "there's no way" but was pleasantly disappointed. This was a vibe of a video man. Moose tearin' it up.
@@matthew_boling1bro you got yogurt, but otherwise you got zero fermented foods. Gut flora is everything. This is zombie food. Sauerkraut, Kim chi, non-alcoholic beer, and any kind of random lactofermented fruits and vegetables that you see on sale will up your game. Just chop it up and toss it in yogurt and spices and let it sit in the fridge anywhere from a Few days to a few weeks. Track it, and smell it. And why would you cook salmon when you can make ceviche with it?
Matt, awesome to follow your journey since we were all running track in HS. You were the national sensation. Best of luck and thanks for the good eats, keep up the vids
@@dpteejay3936 There are nutrients in red meat that you won't find without supplementation so Beef and Lamb should be part of the ideal diet for not only athletes, but for everyone including Vegans.
You have to do more of this content Matthew. There are a lot of people out there that don't know, where or how to start with their training journey, and sometimes all they need is a little bit of guidance that not everyone gets. Videos like these really help teach people about training and eating habits while staying consistent. Also good luck in the Olympics!
Man you made it a long away. Literally 6 yrs ago you was dominating hs. And now your here that insane. I still remember one of the small meets had to be a 2nd leg for 4x4 as a distance runner. Our coach telling us to try the build the biggest lead from your team and you in the 4th leg.
Two things: 1. I feel like you should be modeling on the side. Could be a great side hustle especially with your level of fame 2. Prosciutto is pronounced "pro-shoot-oh" lol Keep up the good work!
I know you know what your doing but my 2cent seeing you eat a lot of white meat which is fine. Just remember not as nutrient dense as red meat specifically beef which has way more vitamins and minerals than you would get out of chicken and Turkey. Beef will get you Zinc and Iron, Vitamin B which will help you in training and recovery. But otherwise you have a clean diet. I love Kiwi fruits I have them every morning did you know they have more vitamin C than lemons.
I have that same Aroma rice cooker. It’s cheap but the best brand, I swear. I’m on my second one. My first one lasted over 10 years. My second one was a fancy Korean one and it only lasted 1.5 years. Back to the Aroma going strong for about $15 💪 Thanks for the tips on some healthy, nutritious meals FYI I cook most of my vegetables in a (inexpensive) steamer that goes inside a regular pot. They stay moist and I don’t have to use any oil
I am one of your biggest fans Matthew but I have saved the day that you were in the Bahamas and I was not approving of it for a world-class Calbrad that you need to eat what’s your competition is easy which is Rod natural Whole Foods with no processing and no sugars you don’t need any sauce on your chicken sandwich sauces are full of nothing but anything that’s good if you you’d be better off going back in time 100 years and eating that diet, , I have found that Europeans have a much healthier diet than American fast food processed plastic junk,,,,The whole world is looking forward to the rematch with Netherlands in the finals thank you Matthew
Meal plan is way more affordable than I thought! Mr Boling, kuike thanks for sharing your journey with us, these videos show us how to be great and consisten in our own lives. We all can't run 100m but we all can get the salmon and chicken breast on sale and eat better.
Hey Matt, huge fan here. Keep up the hard work, you have as much talent as any runner out there! My brother and I ran summer track in Houston a couple decades before you, we are 37 and 41 now. We found out about you like a week after your 9.98 100m went viral...we had no clue a high schooler was running those times right down the street, we would have been at every track meet watching if we knew. Our dad's house is literally right across the street from Strake Jesuit too. By the time you went viral your high school career was done, so we still haven't seen you run in person Anyways, just wanted to give my little backstory. Good luck in Paris! It's going to take a 44 low just to make the team, you easily got that!
Cool insights, I see you're not necessarily doing protein shakes, but more so fitting lots of protein in your general meals, any reason? Best of luck with all the prep, I've subbed to watch along, love it when athletes share their basic stuff besides fancy content

It's so cool that he's so down to earth. He's so talented and you can see that he trains incredibly hard. I'm a huge fan from Lubbock and enjoy watching him and hope he has a great 2024!
Ha...I decided to start a whole foods, high carb diet today to fuel more workout activity (I'm in my late 50s) and this video pops up in my feed. Everything is spot on. I'm stealing it all! I'm just glad I don't do your workouts. I'd snap something real quick.
Hey Matt, I got into running a few years ago, what are some advice to keep pushing and not give up mentally when running certain distances or holding speed while coming close to the finish line.
