When you get a Matthew commercial while watching a Matthew commercial video as you tell people about Matthew's commercials. I have found the center of all things.
I find these commercials compelling and with Matthew McConaughey behind the wheel even more so. Do they make or entice me into wanting to buy a Lincoln, hell no! Way, way beyond what l can afford.
the first commercial lead me to amon tobin and his great music, but ever since i discovered the artist i’ve noticed a song of his called "easy muffin" keeps getting privited and taken down no matter who uploads it and i don't know why
It’s not even on Apple Music. I heard the song on NPR and Shazam’d it, wasn’t on iTunes so I looked it up on RU-vid. Now it makes since why this vid was recommended.
@5:05 my dad was always like "why did he do that? What's that got to do with cars?!" I always thought it wasn't as cryptic as my dad made it out to be, its like they were trying to suggest driving a Lincoln was exhilarating like jumping into a pool wearing a good suit.
Need more backstory on the black dude. MM got dressed up to go to the poker game. But the brother had his bow tie untied from the start. So either he had a black tie event beforehand - one that MM wasn’t invited to (NAACP awards?) - or he’s a total douche who drapes a bow tie over his neck with no intention ever of tying it. I’m charitable, so I’ll assume the former. So come on Lincoln, give us the history.
@cm. CG and of course I missed a third option. The brotha got there all dressed up, but had a little pre-game rendezvous with the dame, and decided not to retie his bow tie afterwards.
@SyFoster2ndCircle yeah, Miles Davis and poker? Sounds great. But three guys, one girl? Yikes. Unless the brotha and the David Beckham are gay, we’re going to have a serious rumble before long.
@James Robert it’s a Lincoln commercial. Not a Bentley. Is there a tax bracket for Lincoln drivers who wear untied bow ties as a fashion statement? I know the tax code is complex, but that seems *awfully* specific.
