I can tell from this interview that Mr. McConaughey has a great mother whom he has immense respect for. It translates into respect for all woman and seeing their greatest strengths and admirable traits. Good men come from good mothers.

Ilhaam technically it could be. A child should have both a good mother and a good father, taking away one will mess with the child's neurochemistry and development without him being aware of it. I didn't become aware of my fathers absence affecting me until my psychiatrist explained why I look up to fictional movie characters, it was because I was naturally looking for a father figure. So yes, it can definitely be the mothers fault. Take your self righteous bullshit somewhere else.

Yeha Marin What makes him brilliant? He's an actor. His job to memorize lines and make facial expressions in order to convey emotional tone based on the context of the script. You could say he's a good actor and talented. If you meant brilliant from another perspective then ok.

I enjoyed this entire interview from beginning to end. Here's a man who thinks deeply, appreciates, empathizes and compliments women. He's blessed with a human quality that most people will never rise to. I'm so proud of him. Wish we had politicians with his heart, intelligence and kindness. I had no idea how wonderful he truly is. Total package! He’s intellectual, great actor, love the voice (when he speaks it goes across my skin like cool, soft silk on a hot summers day), and of course absolutely gorgeous. I love the fact that Matthew is “real”. He doesn’t appear to let ego get into his way. He can hang with the ritzy rich, or the bum on the street corner and be sincere. No I don’t know him in person (dang it!) but that’s how I see him. Yep! Total Package! ❤️

Matthew has cultivated a skill that few people take the time to work on these days: he simply looks for something good in everyone and everything. If you make a point of doing that with everyone you meet or work with, you can always find at least one nice thing to say about anyone, literally ANYONE, and it makes both of you look good. It also makes people respect you. Badmouth someone and it makes you look small, even if people may agree with you. They'll always remember you go around trash-talking people and they won't ever really trust you or think much of you.
